So please any new uploads , have to be put to another site !
use rapidhare with a password, and alter the names , use ''my birthday party'' or something.

I use Mediafire as well. I would use Sendspace, but the download speed sucks depending on your internet.

Sendspace is horrid for me on download speeds. i just don't get how some people can down off of there?

MediaFire has deleted quite a few of my uploads. I've been using several different hosting sites to combat that problem and to reduce waiting time between downloads for all you guys. But I don't know that any place is safe anymore - I'm having to spot-check my links. That's why I offer to reup anything if my links go dead.

So far, Rapidshare hasn't deleted anything of mine, but I don't have as much up there. I just found out that over two thirds of my stuff at Megaupload is gone, though. UGH! What a pain in the ass.

I think there are too much files on rapidshare to scan all their names. If they delete something, only if nobody downloads the file or someone sends a mail to rapidshare...

Speed on rapidshare: 500 KB/s or more
Speed on megaupload: 100 - 300 KB/s
Speed on sendspace: ~ 50 KB/s
Speed on uploaded.to: ~ 100 KB/s

That were my download speeds. ;)

I think rapidshare is the best, but its files get deleted after 3 months...

EDIT:
But I recommend this site: www.xirror.com
It's in german, but it puts your files automatically on four servers: rapidshare.com, filefactory.com, uploaded.to and netload.in

I had a problem with MediaFire a couple of days ago when I tried re-upping one of my files. It uploaded no problem, but when I tested out the link, It kept telling me that the file was removed because I violated the terms of service..yada yada yada. That's the first time it's ever done that to me.

They've done that to me a couple of times. Don't bother; you can't reup a file on MediaFire because they have it set to recognize that filename as being a violation. I've had to put those files elsewhere.

err...
zip it and add password
it's a good method to avoid being deleted

Just change the file a bit. And not the filename. There are plenty of files with the same name on mediafire, and they're not all illegal uploads. Adding a password should help, just putting a little txt file or image in there or renaming files should help too.

And yeah, megaupload has sure been deleting a lot these last couple of days. The weird thing is, they haven't deleted any of my anime OSTs marked with [Nipponsei]. Soo... I guess they just felt like ignoring those. I've been using mediafire now, and so far they haven't deleted anything. Even with original filenames intact.

How does adding a password help? You can still see the filelisting.

huh?

1. zip the music files and zip it again with password
2. use japanse romaji as filename instead of english
3. use winrar: (1)put authenticity verification, (2)lock archive, and (3)generate archive name by mask

with password protection, how can they identify the file?

I'm a fan of MassMirror and Sharebee just because they upload to a bunch of sites so you can keep everyone happy.
(fastest downloads for me seem to come from zShare)
