ok wtf is going on. i followed everything the guide said about how to get a river chocobo. i mated them together and used a carob nut and a blue one didnt come out. it wuz just a regular chocobo. wut happened?

did you feed them greens until their abilities stopped leveling up and them race them to rank S before that.

o aright i didnt do that..so i assume u need to do that for the green,black,and gold chocobos too right?

sell a master All materia for approx 1.4 million gil and buy 99 of every green (including chocobo sage) and keep feeding him until it says something like, "nothing happened" or " done leveling up" dont remember... but then it will cooperate with you completely... 99%

First of all what color of chocobo do you have right now?

You need to start by going to the !Mideel Area! and getting the best chocobo there. You can tell by what enemies you encounter along with the choobo.
Equip the sense materia too and that helps you tell what is the better one.

You know how to grow materia right? This shit isn't cheap, you should sell some mastered all materias if you want some quick cash. I say this because the best greens are bought from the .Chocobo sage. guy located
!South of the North Cave! he sells Sylkis greens for (in my version of ff7)
5000 gil, for every chocobo that you race give them 12 the first time and then
12 again later.

Race in the gold saucer by just always doing the SHORT COURSE, because they both get you to your goal at the same speed. Hold down r1 and r2 at the same time to regenerate your stanima and you can easily win
all racing does is just raise your chance but sometimes reseting over and over gets frusterating and you can potentially win some prizes from racing.

Once you get a green or a blue lil bastard go to the ICICLE AREA chocobo tracks and get the best chocobo there, you can tell by what chocobill says too.

Resetting it wont change it from female to male. Just go catch another one, or better yet about 3 or 4.
