I don't have that song in the video, I have a karaoke version of "Go my way!", its in THE IDOLM@STER MASTERWORK 01 GO MY WAY. It doesn't sound the same though.

By the way, does it matter if the master artist CDs are incomplete or not? On my computer I deleted the dialogue in the CDs since I didn't understand them. I did, however, backed up the originals from seagate. Which would you want me to upload? The CDs with talking in between songs or just the songs itself?

I cropped out the songs to put in my mp3 playlist, but missing the first song on that CD, and I uninstalled the cropping program since it expired (freeware), so do you want me to upload what I have or the 50minutes mp3 file and you can crop whatever part you need? What songs are in the LIVE FOR YOU album? What about the YOUR SONG album?

Are the CD Scenes just talking or are there music also?

In the Live for You album, it contains shiny smile, Valentine, and Kotori Otonashi's version of iDOLM@STER. For the Your song cd, it contains the character tribute songs of each character, as well as drama parts in between. For the 5 cd scene albums, each are drama cds.

From what you are talking about if or if not they they have banter or a drama piece, and from the information that I look up for the tracklisting, it seems that you pull those tracks from your uploads. If you don't mind, can you reupload Masterwork 01 and 02 with all of the tracks, even the banter? It sort of frustrating to see a file missing in an album.

I was just checking the files on my computer. Sorry to say, I don't have that 7th file on my computer in that album.

By the way, what programs do you use for converting tta to mp3?

Also which program to split larger mp3 into smaller ones? The shareware I was using expired.

I am trying to use river past audio converter to convert tta to mp3 but apparantely, its not working. When I use the Lame_enc.dll compresser, it gives me some really bad interference in the file. and MPEG Layer-3 compresser isnt working. Any idea on this?

Apologies for the double post, but just wanted to let you know that I'm good now. I changed from riverpast to audiotool ease audio converter for converting tta, and it worked like a charm

the ease audio converter also have a splitter program built in, but i didnt like it much so I went ahead and got a separate one, MP3 Splitter from Piston Direct

With that I could just open the log file provided and make the splitting selection based on the times written in the log, so far it works like a charm (tried first 4 files).

I got work now, so I will double check them when i get back, rename them, then hopefully upload them by today or by tomorrow. Hopefully it wont be delayed too much.

Supposing there are no problems, the scans are included, and also a .cue file with the names of the songs and the singer (If my labeling isnt trustworthy enough). The first mp3 file, is Kotori's introduction of the songs to come in the CD. As you can see in the cue file, there is no name in the quotation mark for performer. So I just wrote in Kotori. I later changed it to her kanji name but that was after I uploaded. So if you would like to change it. This is her name, 音無小鳥

Hopefully this works fine for everyone.

As for my personal opinion on the CD...

There is a game on it for the 360, but in Japan. In the anime its almost like gundam, and the game version you perform on a stage doing something. You can youtube a sample of it or wiki it.

I read somewhat about it also. I'll help clear up any confusion over this game.

Basically as DrunkenDwarf says, its a game on the xbox360. Only available in Japan at the moment and has no intentions of coming to North America.

It is however, possible to get it from play-asia. But be warned, north america xbox360s will not be able to run the game. You need an asian xbox360. I think on your xbox you should see NJSC or something like that, if you see NJSC-J instead, then yours is a asian xbox360. But I'm sure you knew where you got it so what I said earlier don't matter.

Just know that.
IT WILL NOT RUN ON AN AMERICAN XBOX360.

so don't waste your money.

Basically the game is alot like visual novels (if you have read any). I read Clannad, Planetarian, and Narcissu. Except the only difference is that there are mini games included in the game. Mini games would be the practices your idol does to hone her visual/vocal/dancing abilities.

I don't know all the different minigames but I know that there are videos of them on the web. Between auditions (which I will talk about later) and training are your communication sessions with your idol.

This is the part I would like to play most because I am a big fan of funny stories. Just like any visual novel, occasionally, during the conversation, there are choices for you to pick, pick the right one, and you get a good response, bad pick and well its bad. At the end of the communication session, your idol's spirit or whatever you call it, will either drop, rise a little, or rise alot.

Also on a side note, sometimes instead of you picking options on what to say to her. She will ask you to for example, pick food off her cheek, or something. Another funny part about this game (which people then label this as Hentai, which is completely wrong), is that you can touch anywhere you wish (within the 10 second time limit). Depending on what you did, you get a certain response.

At the end of the day, you read emails, encouragement mail = increase spirit, stalker mail = decrease spirit, item mail = more accessories to wear

So now lets talk about what the heck an audition is.

Well it is basically the time when you've put your hours of training into good use. Well... not really...

At the audition, basically is when your idol will perform to impress the judges. The song, clothes, everything should be set beforehand (yes, you pick which song she sings and what she wears). Of course, during the audition, she doesnt wear what you pick, she just wears her normal workout clothes.

During the audition, there will be 3 judges where you have to impress. Since I dont know japanese, I dont know the details but every so often, you're suppose to click a button on your gamepad corresponding to which judge you want to impress.

Different judges gives different number of points in different section, 3 judges, one for visual, vocal, and dancing.

Giving too much or too little attention to one judge will drop its interest in you, so you should spread it out (but still focus mostly on the most score giving judge, thats what i see people doing on youtube videos).

During the audition, you can also pull out good memories from the communication segments to increase your points in all 3 categories.

Basically, from what I know, during the audition, you just press any of the judge buttons when it is available (probably just a timing game). And you want to come in the top 3.

Top 3 gets to actually go on stage or whatever, where she will actually perform in the outfit you chose and everything.

Your control at this point is basically gone, she just goes and does her thing. Depending on stats, she could get into "accidents" from forgetting lines to stumbling or wows the audition with somewhat "special" poses.

Thats pretty much the game. I think Hoshii Miki (girl with blonde hair), is a downloadable character, I might be wrong, but I think it is, which would explain why shes more popular than the rest.

But she does end up having 2 possible endings. Speaking on downloadable contents. Clothes and accessories can be gotten off the Japan Xbox Live Marketplace. From school uniforms to swimsuits, they have everything to impress japanese people. The cost might be overwhelming for most though.

I hope you're ok with sendspace, cause the folder is 166MB, with the cue file included in case you want to double check the names of the songs. Though I'm pretty sure I got it right.

It'll take a while to upload depending on my connection. From 5 minutes to a day.

Edit: Hm.. just the CDs starting from 3 has the cue file. I got the CD 1 and 2 from a different source when it was already in mp3 format. If you are familiar with winamp, you would know there are 2 different namings for each song, ID3v1 and ID3v2.

For the first and 2nd CDs, I left the original naming on ID3v1, they have the names of the of the singer in romanji as well as the CV. To make it fit the rest of the CDs, I changed the name to japanese. What I couldn't do though, was rename the romanji-nized song names to their japanese titles =/ Sorry about that.

First file is at 25% uploaded.

Yeah, actually I got 4 DVDs when getting the game... The first one is the actual game disc (duh... :P), The OVA, The Danketsu PV, and a DVD featuring a few seconds of the Remix B songs (advertisement so that people would buy them at XBOX LIVE, I think)... If you want the complete version,they are like spread through the whole series...

Apologies for my lack of posts. Its been a disaster over here. First my HD died, and now some stupid virus like thing. I'm only able to use the internet at work cause my laptop kind of can't connect online for some reason... When I turn on my wireless card it will connect to my internet and work for a short while (3-5 minutes) then it stops working... =/

I"ve been spending my whole past 5 days trying to fix it with little to no help. Ad-aware isnt working. It won't let me install anti virus, saying access is denied to writing some important files into registry.

Files also appear on my computer from time to time, files like 1.exe, 2.exe, flower.exe, haohao.exe, etc
I've done online searches to find out what they are (yes viruses...). But without a program to clear them, I can't really fix it myself. I have went to registry to delete them but apparantely, they just reappear. Most of the problems just occur when I'm connected to the internet. So until I go home for a full format (with HD Shredding). I probably can't do anything here.
(Work allows us to use internet but blocks off alot of sites)

So yeah, sorry about this but I won't be able to contribute much from now until April 26th or so when my computer recovers.

Yeah, I didn't know it was that frustrating either =/ !!

I've have had viruses before, thats nothing new, but usually I could take care of it easily with an anti virus program (online, or offline). I like to use Trend Micro Housecall Online virus scan because it will automatically delete your viruses, and even if it doesnt, it teaches you how to remove it manually. So my computer was always relatively safe. When I first realized my computer had this particular virus (or viruses). I immediately used housecall like always, they helped me delete what they could. However, by that time, my browser was already having lots of problems displaying pages. (Loads pages with errors). I couldnt click on the link on housecall to bring up how to manually remove the error. After the scan, I rebooted, and the virus remained. I proceeded to scan with Ad-aware, it didn't do anything =/

I had a friend recommend me some antiviruses. But the computer was getting worse and worse as time went on. The installer couldnt be completed saying I lacked administrator rights.

All in all, it WAS and still AM a wreck =/
I'm working like mad to try to find a fix. If I could I would upload some images of what I'm getting when I start up (About 10 errors). Most of which are explorer.exe and iexplorer.exe (virus) that is crashing. Once I connect to the internet, 1.exe, 2.exe, etc starts popping up and getting errors too. After so many errors occur the system gives me the blue screen of death and shuts down.

I also tried to do system recover with the window software, except the virus messed up my computer clock, it goes to year 1982... I wasnt even born yet on 1982... And I doubt my laptop was even existing at that time. Nevermind my laptop, probably ASUS didnt exist either... =(

PS. I'm currently afraid to backup anything because I fear that the virus might be hidden in some files. So a clean wipe of my system is probably the choice of action for me. Why people make viruses, I don't know. If you want to know one of the viruses I have, google up 1.exe, 2.exe, or haohao.exe
The last one (haohao.exe) is in chinese. I think some chinese person made it... And I dont recall ever visiting any chinese sites...

The first site definitely helps. As for the HijackThis program I don't have and don't know where to find.
And with the screwed up internet at home. I don't think it will help much to ask online for a solution. I'm looking for websites regarding the problem and how to solve so I can print them at work, and then try applying them when I get home.

Just wondering though, by turning off System Restore, what exactly does it do? And how does it help me to remove the malware? Or is there more I need to do that what it says?

Well, the worms might've infected some of your System Restore files, and turning off System Restore would allow your antivirus to check those files...I guess.

Then again, you said you've already scanned your pc, and nothing showed up, right? Your antivirus should've still been able to scan the System Restore files even if System Restore is enabled.

I don't know if the method mentioned in the link works (I haven't tried it), but it wouldn't hurt to try, right?

Yeah, I printed them out at work. I'll try disabling the system restore and deleting those files stated in the websites. I also downloaded a few malware removal programs to test. Since the site seems to say something about using Quick Heal scanner. But none of their trial version programs works in their download section (or maybe I am blocked at work to reach the link provided) =/
I'm just hoping it gets fixed.

Haha... I officially give up ._.;;

Its pretty messed up now. None of the programs worked, all says access denied to write somewhere in the registry and so it couldnt install properly. Same problems in safe mode. regedit can no longer be entered either now =/

Without anti viruses programs, regedit, msconfig, taskmgr.
What can I possibly do now? D:

And now the computer automatically shuts off if I click "ok" or "cancel" to 4 errors

1. explorer
2. iexplorer
3. some driver for my wireless
4. winlogon

So the only way to keep my computer opened is to not press anything, and just drag the error message to somewhere that doesnt block the screen... =/

Maybe you could back up your files...maybe they aren't infected..

I think the only thing left is to reformat. Or buy a Mac. :P

Edit: However, from what I have seen from that youtube video, that video is actually an edited version of all the characters saying the song. In the official version, each says about 2 lines, while in the video, each says about half a line, then switches to another person. Since each of the voice actors sang the same song, it can be easily edited to what we have here in the video.

Edit 2: Further listening to the video, once the song reaches to the second verse, it reverts back to the official version of the song.

Try adding a ".rar" extension to the filename. After that, you should be able to unzip it using WinRAR.

MASTER BOX III contains all "main" songs (REMIX-A) by each of the characters in performance duration (about 2 minutes, so it's not the full song)... so that's a bunch of songs >w<
I'd recommend MASTER BOX I&II ENCORE (you can find the download link a few pages behind this thread), as it contains all main songs (not the REMIXes) by each of the characters, a total of 170 tracks over 5 CDs... in performance duration ^w^
if you want the M@STER VERSION (full version) of the songs, go ahead and download the MASTER ARTISTS album (each of the characters sings a different song in full version) ^^
if you want a specific song I could tell you in which album is it =D

With the other albums such as THE iDOLM@STER MASTERWORK, and THE IDOLM@STER MASTER LIVE what differentiates or make these unique from others and if i did miss other titled ones can you explain those also. MASTER ARTISTS are the album made specifically for each of the characters, with their M@STER version songs and some extra songs made specifically for the character
MASTER LIVE usually introduces new songs, like shiny smile in MASTER LIVE 00, It's Show in MASTER LIVE 02 or Do-Dai in MASTER LIVE 03
FAMISON 8-BIT is the iDOLM@STER songs with 8-BIT background music, and some of it includes the idols singing Namco classic songs (like "Labyrinth" - the theme song of Pacman - sung by Yayoi in FAMISON 8-BIT 01)
MASTER BOX is the collection of performance duration songs =D
MASTERWORKS is one of the old albums I don't really know =(

Some former Japanese Stage6 users transferred to Veoh when the former site shut down. Most of them are reuploading their iDOLM@STER videos to Veoh.

VeohTV's download speed is kinda erratic... But I don't mind, as long as it downloads videos efficiently. :-P

I started to collect the Master Live albums, and I found that the link for 01 (rem@ster-a) is dead. Anyone willing to show me a fresh link?

Also, it was talked about earlier in this thread - does someone have a good copy of the Danketsu PV they could send my way? It's one of my fav im@s songs since it features the entire crew and has a catchy chorus. I got the flv of the vid from youtube but wish I had a better copy.

Anyway, if you could help me out it would be appreciated, though I already got what I came for; this thread seemed so awesome I thought I'd try my luck.

The last CD of the MASTER LIVE will be MASTER LIVE ENCORE, releasing in 10/29.

Can someone answer this uber noob question?

I only have the 8bit idolmaster albums, which I think are fantastic. Now I'd like to get the original versions, but there are sooo many albums! Which ones should I download? That "master box" maybe?

Those tracks in the Master Box are short versions inside the game.
If you are interested in the original versions, get the MASTER WORK and MASTER PIECE series.
If you want songs in solo version, get the MASTER ARTIST series.

Just lost all of my folders containing all my songs. So I was wondering if anyone can upload some of the items that I previously uploaded, such as the Makoto's Birthday cd. I am trying to get my collection back up, so I would be grateful if people can help out. Moreover, can anyone link the third track of Ritsuko's cd. It seems that it was bugged during the zipping phase and it cant read it. Also, can anyone repost Master Live 01?

Edit: From what I have checked out, there are other cds that goes for each of the girls' birthdays. There are a few cds out there: Chihaya (the Gratitude CD), Makoto, and Ritsuko have been, previously posted, and two more, Ami/Mami (2 cds), and Haruka's Drama (came with a china set) is still out there somewhere.
