Hey guys,

Seeing as my computer games course is fast approaching I though I'd post something I've been working on for about 7 days now. It's a 3D model of the 'HAW206" battletank that appears near the end of the original Ghost in the shell movie.

It's still being finished off and touched up (possible bump mapping) but it's pretty much finished. Here's a few quick renders.

Thanks :)

I'll be finishing off the renders soon as I'm downloading some 3d plugins to give it that extra oompf!.

My next project will likely be the De Lorean DMC from "Back to the future". ;)

EDIT- Here's the Deviant Art page.

It looks good! The model itself is flawless (maybe the ammo looks a bit cheap :p )! Makes me wonder what reference did you use while making this? :)
Are you going to add materials and textures to it as well?

Well, they are the finished textures already. Seeing it was based on the model from the actual anime I tried to create very plain colours and textures to almost give it an anime look rather than it being too realistic.

Nice job! For some reason I remembered this one as having a main cannon, maybe thats the one at the start of 2nd gig though. Anyways, awesome render, and awesome(but insanely annoying) program.

Oh I see.. have you looked into the Ink 'n paint shader? Im certain it look like taken out from the anime right away then! :D
