I've never finished 7 but but it's love story is no where near enticing as X, VIII's a pretty good love story, VII, i more along the lines of a love that never was.

Have you checked out the sites front page? There's quite alot of information on FF7 there. =)

I personally preferred FF10, but would suggest renting the game if you can to see what you think. You might well find that you like it, although IMO it's not one of the better games in the series.

'' ff7 new one in ps2''
do you mean Dirge of Cerberus ?
Nope , the game cannot be compared to neither of the games you mentioned.

The original ff7 though, is imo the best ff.

IX has a good love story, much better than VII's or VIII's, as well as being the better of the modern FF games.

Why do people keep saying that I couldn't bring myself to finish, IX it was soooooooo boring. and the atmosphere was ridiculous, the queen is jabba the hut's cousin, and he lead character has a tail, anything goes in Squaresoft.I got up to the part where you get that girl swordsman she was the only good thing about the game, and rat dragoons wtf? Now it's not a bad game I just didn't enjoy it.

HEAVEN FORBID THERE SHOULD BE FANTASY IN A FANTASY GAME!

But seriously, do yourself a favor and avoid FFVII. Either you'll hate it or it'll lower your IQ to the point that you'll like anything.

I didn't mean it like that but c'mon keep some source of realism, though I do see your point.

FFX was the best one. Excellent storyline, excellent characters, excellent experience system. VII was also fun and probably a huge reason the PSX launched so well. I do love both but I have to give the edge to X in the end.

I liked FF7 but if you did really enjoy FF10, I can't see you enjoying it. I like all except X-2, XI and IX. The PS2 game you mentioned is Dirge of cerberus. Its okay. Fun to play but too much like devil may cry to be considered a major FF original. FFXII is really good, probably my favourite. Why didn't I choose for my name to be Montblanc! anywayI suggest if you have any freinds who have it, borrow it first (you will never find it to rent). If not then buy it and hope for the best. If you don't like it then send it to me as mine ids destroyed beyond repair (I never even had a chance to beat Ruby Weapon, WAAAAAH!). Anywho I hope you enjoy playing it if you do, I hope you will contact me about it as I am curious to know what you think.

I find it retarded that some people here won't give a game a chance just because it doesn't use androgenic looking humans with overly exagerated weapons or MTV-like looking babes.

Only shows how superficial some gamers are.

I'm more a fan of story-lines and character development myself, graphics are just a plus, definitely not necessary though. FF IV is still my favourite FF to date.

FF IV? Come on, that game was lame, you could get transformed into a Pig or a Frog. Talk about the lamest thing that tatally ruins the game.

And who wants to have these 2 annoying twin morons in his party? They made the game so much weaker when you compare it to the first 3 in the series!!!

(SARCASM note put here in case some slow pokes can't figure it out on their own)

No, the storyline of VII wasn't as good as in X, nor was it as well-presented.

When the writers have to hide crucial plot information inside hidden scenes to make the story seem deeper, you know that something is amiss.

Of course, IX pwns them all.

It does have a good love story, but you could complete it in a week without solidly playing it. Major suck points, IMO.

Disagree there. It took me way more than a week to finish it and the last game I played solidly was Monopoly when I was 10.
