Michael Schumacher Cart Racing or Hooligans game rip would be great, thanks! I notice that you get some of your game music from either composers' homepages or sites like Mirsoft and Trygames. I use them too and I can say that Mirsoft is really a great place for any game music fans. Trygames is also a very good site and it features many trial games so that you can rip their music! :-) - a great way for those who are interested more in the music than the game itself!

Well... so... Far Cry Demo is ready, but consists of 305 tracks (!!!), mostly between 4 and 10 secs. That's because of the ingenious enigine, which decides, which music cues to play, when a defined action takes place (e.g. an enemy spots you near an ammunition warehouse...) and also, which samples to use to actually put together one piece of music. This pretty much reminds me of Anarchy Online where you have a similar music engine (1,149 WAV tracks in 105 folders...).
Do you still want it? And what about the video tracks?

How did you go about making it (the website), and is it easy to make? (Well, I suppose that's two questions.) @ Anatar: I haven't forgotten your request for the C&C sampler. I just wanted to note that it's a double CD, the first one containing the "Music from Command & Conquer: Red Alert" CD, the second one is a sampler with songs having nothing to do with the C&C series. Currently I haven't converted the second CD, because it's not really a Game Soundtrack - do you still want that?

Scratches is a rare and on top of it, a very good soundtrack.

Hm, If you want me to, I could rip it in lossless format... I prefer TAK, because it's really fast and has a low CPU load when switching from one song to another.

Thanks a lot for the uploads, Alpha23! I just have found the time to download both rips. By the way, the main themes of your Hooligans rip has some problems, there are occasional sounds of cracks in the songs, which harm the general effect of the themes. I guess your Hooligans CD wasn't in a great shape.

I'm not sure I understood what you mean but I'll try to give an answer. Yes, I have some games you don't have the rips of (though they are very few - I don't buy games for quite a while) and if you want, I'd be more than happy to release the rips I have made from them. Like you, I rip too, but I mainly rip from casual games that you can find in many download sites.

As for your second question: I have no idea what you are saying! :) Could you be a bit more specific?

Actually, I don't have a list of games because as I said before, they are mostly the casual games that I have downloaded from either Reflexive Arcade or some other download sites like Big Fish Games or TryGames. For example, I just ripped today Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile (yes, another Agatha Christie game! :) ). It has 5 OGG files - Music by Strategic Music (http://www.strategicmusic.org/).

As for the retail games I own: Well, there are hardly any, I'm afraid. I have Silent Hunter II, for instance. Ripped all the music. I have also Sheep from Empire Interactive. Ripped it too! If you want, I can provide you the music.

Well, it depends on the style of game music you like. Best soundtrack is already up (American McGee's Alice), but there are surely some soundtracks that I can recommend.
If you like relaxing electronic background music to listen for hours i'd recommend

Neocron (Ian Boddy, Max Corbacho and Steve Roach)
EVE Online (Jon Hallur)
Black & White (Russell Shaw)
Live for Speed S2 (Victor van Vlaardingen)

If you like the more heroic and upbeat orchestral score I'd recommend

Advent Rising (Tommy Tallarico)
Dungeon Siege (Jeremy Soule) or
Knights of the Temple (Gustav Grefberg)
Paraworld (Tilman Sillescu)

There are plenty of other styles, games with interesting, alsmost experimental music, so just tell me, which style you like. You can even name the music of a game, that you like and that I have in my collection and I can look for games that have similar music! =)

Hi. Is there anyway you could put the American McGee's Alice gamerip up again? I can't seem to find a link that isn't dead to get it. I'd absolutely LOVE to have it and it would make my day... I'm a huge fan. I have Alice and the Cheshire cat tattooed over my entire right forearm.
