But, about the music, Good Lord, what a pile of noisy crap... Gundam has typically inspired great music but this over-produced, hyperactive percussive racket is bloody awful. Epic, no. Noisy, uninspired, vulgar, yes...

What a pity...

Hopefully Toshihiko Sahashi will repair the damage in the upcoming Seed movie...

Well, the majority of Gundam music has been symphonic and orchestral stuff. In fact, I think Gundam Wing was the first time a composer (Kou Otani) working for the Gundam series thought, "Hey, let's mix an electric guitar in with a symphony and see what happens." Who knew it would work out so damn well?

As for the other comment, I have to disagree; I think most Gundam series had a fair mix of robot suits and character focus (but not in Gundam Wing). In Code Geass, the Knightmares come third: first is the characters and second is the nature of the Geass. Hell, Knightmares may even be further down the list. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to personal tastes.
