I only have the budget for only one game, so i was wondering which game should i buy? any opinions?
Also please post the pros and the cons of the game u had voted for, cause i want to get enough opinions before i buy anything. Such as hows the gameplay, the length of the game and such.
And if u had voted for none of the above, please post which games do u recommend. (i am mostly into rpgs)
Thank You:)

does anyone know wat the superstar mode for madden 08 looks like this year?

Superstar mode is somehow deeper than it was last year. Actually, I found it so involving that I didn't even play Madden 07 and stuck to NCAA Football 2007.

Anyways, just like before, you can bring a player from NCAA 2008 into Madden 08 and grow them from that point. It's more realistic, so you can't just have a player with all 90+ stats brought in, so you'll have to work them up.

The drafting system reminds me of last year, where you more than likely don't go higher than 2nd round. There are more drills, and a mode where you choose a rookie from this year and play their career.

It's hard to go into without picking a specific position to play as, but it's a deeper system with more detail than in last year's version. If you liked SS in 07, you'll probably like it this year, too.

Yes, you can bring in your own new player. You'll probably have to do drills and stuff to see what their stats will be, then you'll go into the draft. As for off-the-field stuff, I don't know what's in this year's as far as that goes. It is nice to know I'm not the only American football junkie around here.

Rogue Galaxy, I've heard the plot's lousy, but the battle system's decent enough; think Star Ocean 3. Haven't played it myself yet, but intend to. When the price goes down. In 1-2 years from now.

Tales of Legendia may be a little hard to get your hands on now, considering it came out two years ago. If you see it, pick it up. However, the game's not particularly serious, and the semi-deformed/chibi/LEGO people graphics might get to you. Otherwise, if you like an RPG that plays fast, and is sure to laugh you your ass off, go for it.

Tales of the Abyss has more realistic character dimensions; the voice-acting, dialogue, and humor are very good, and the game has more serious overtones, considering the political intrigue that's more prevalent. Considering that it still incorporates Tale's trademark battle system, the game also plays fast. This game has also become somewhat of a rarity; if you have choice between Legendia and Abyss, go with Abyss.

Madden 08, if you're the type to wear baseball caps and socks with your Adidas sandals, swill cheap beer, and drive a Jeep, by all means, go for it.

Like Schwarzer said, if Madden is your thing, get Madden. I personally don't play sports games.

If you can still get get Abyss, definitely pick it up, as it's somewhat rare. I kinda liked Legendia more, though. Abyss has to be the worst game ever loading time wise. They're EVERYWHERE. It takes like a minute to save. Once I actually walked on a blue ground on the world map because the textures couldn't load fast enough. The game could've been so much better if it were released on the Cube... Rogue Galaxy is just an overall great game. And I haven't played Luminous Arc, so I can't really say anything about that, but it looks OK.

So basically, get Abyss if you can. Otherwise... just get what you wanna play.

Ah, sorry for the late reply; you've probably found the answer on your own already, but honestly, while others may complain about the loading times on Tales of the Abyss, I really don't notice them. It's not like they're as bad as the loading times for PS2 Suikoden games. For Legendia, load times are practically non-existent.

Buy all of them! Then throw them into some large body of water and see which one sinks the fastest. The one that sinks first wins. And if they do not sink then they all suck. k thx

Also I voted for Tales of the Abyss.
