Hey there , new to the forum - so b nice to me lol :) Just got FFXII for the PS2 , by a happy mistake :) I actually thought I had bought the FFX game (at a cheap price) , but once I got home I realised the sales assistant had gave me the FFXII game and instructions (new) - WAYHEYY :)

The thing is ... I had the Final fantasy games for the PS1 and enjoyed the card game that was featured in the game . I was just wondering if the card games are still a feature in the FFXII PS2 game???

Picked up the FFX box , took it to the cash desk , the assistant took it away to get the game , came back a few minutes later with the box - went home - opened the game to play it - found it was FFXII with the instructions - just the FFX box though :( :) - jammy eh???

FFVIII's card game dominated, FFIX's card game on the other hand sucked worse that Solitaire.

Lucky break though, you must have saved a few bucks. I remember my brother had bought me FFX for Christmas back when it came out, real cool except the dumb ass employee at Gamestop gave him the fucking display game with no disc in it....Douche...

same thing happened to me about 2 years ago, except with FF7. The person gave me disk 2 and 3 of FF7, and disk 1 of FF9... opened it in the car, took it back 2 min later. Gave me the actual FF7 disk 1 surprisingly.. I love EB :)

He said that when the person that came in to trade in ff7, must have put in disk 1 of ff9.. so they were actually down a copy because he gave me disk 1 of another FF7 set.

Lol - I've also had to take back a few games - A PS2 Outrun 2 turned out to be PS2 Outrun, and the PS2 game God Father , turned out to be an XBOX game inside !! :) -
The games shop staff hate making a mistake !! First thing they always check is who sold you they "dodgy" item - so they can slag them off lol :)

Cheers! Final Fantasy XII is a REALLY great game! 2006 was probably the best year for rpg's ever, with four BLOCKBUSTER titles released in one year!

Chronological order...
March 21st - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(Xbox 360, PC)
March 28th - Kingdom Hearts 2(PS 2)
October 30th - Final Fantasy XII(PS 2)
November 19th - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(Wii)
December 11th - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(Gamecube)

Kingdom Hearts 2 seems to be aimed for the youngest audience, then Zelda, then FF, then Oblivion is aimed torwards the oldest audience in general.

Hehe! I wonder if eventually I'll "move up" to true tabletop rpg's like Dungeons and Dragons! :)
