i'm from england and i goddam love final fantasy. the artwork always amazes me even if the plots sometimes sway to either over detailed or simple.
the figures over here cost 20, but they're the lamer poseable figures, which seem to be all square and kotobukiya want to release recently. anyone hear of cheaper figures, perhaps my american counterparts? and also anyone hear of decently painted resin figures for final fantasy xii?

Are you sure Kotobukiya is making the ones you're talking about? IIRC, they haven't made FF resin statues in few years.

Anyway, I'd try ebay. I purchased a couple of ff8 figs off there a few years ago.

There are resin statues for FFVII: Advent Children and FFVII, and there are some small (chibi) non-posable figures for FFXII but I don't know if they are sold outside of Japan. :x

The onlyresin figure I know of is the master creatures 'Meateus: the corrupt' Esper. Other than that play.com had an offer on all figurines for about 10, but thats probably over now. My suggestion is ebay for the figurines. No resin of carachters as of yet, I will keep you posted. The figurines arent that bad, anyway! plus we haveeverything the americans have at the mo' anyway.

I didn't have to special order my Balflear play arts, I just went to comic shop in town. I also have the play arts Tidus and Yuna, missed Auron though

I'm an avid figure collector. I have the Play Arts figures of Ashe, Yuffie (FFAC), and Tifa (FFAC), the Penelo mini, a small Rinoa figure, small Selphie figure, Japanese-only coke versions of Aerith, Eiko, and Auron, All three FFX-2 figures (Yuna, Paine, and Rikku), the large 1/6 scale Yuna, and the large 1/6 scale Auron.
