I'm fairly sure you can get them from the card mod ability, too. Elastoid card, I think?

Sain, cut that out. You can do that freely in the General discussion forums, but not here.

As for the steel pipe, I agree with what others have said. Get Quetzacoatl to learn the card mod ability and Diabolos to learn the Mug ability, then you could either mod cards for it or mug for it. If you're supposed to be on the way to Galbadia garden, stray a bit. The beach north of Dollet has Fastidofilons(sp?) - flying shark-piranha-type fishes - that normally attacks in groups of threes and awards 10APs each successful battle. This is a pretty high amount of AP at this point of the game, thus a good chance to get GFs to learn skills.

Oh, and terabyte was right, actually. In order to get a Steel Pipe, you want to Card Mod Elastoid. One Elastoid mods into one Steel Pipe. A Wendigo card, on the other hand, mods into a Steel Orb.

I've heard after Quetzalcoatl's gets to lvl 50 Wendigo turns into a steel pipe. So Idk Any who the sher trigger is crap use the cutting edge iirc, all it takes is a couple mesmerize blades, how easy is that?

I don't know what you're on about. If you can show me a source somewhere that indicates that, I'd be very interested to see it, because I can't recall ever seeing anything that indicated that Card Mod was affected by Quezacotl's level.

It's not affected by its level. Anyone would know that. The only thing that would be affected is its HP and summon magic. I think. There might be more but I'm tired as hell and can't really think straight.

I honestly forgot where I saw it maybe I'm confusing, it with another skill, but I get most of my info from GameFaQs.com

I'm going to agree with what has been said by IDX and Ultra Magnus - apparently the modding ability has nothing to do with the level. Afaik the GF's strength, HP and agility are affected by the level, but not it's ability.

Now by agility, do you mean how fast it takes to summon? If that's the case then you're wrong. It gets quicker everytime a certain character summons a certain GF. If Squall summons Ifrit alot, then Ifrit will start coming out quicker for Squall. But say if Selphie has never used Ifrit and summons him, he will come out slower than for Squall.

From what I know, that stat is referred to is "compatibility." And yeah, it's true that it's generally affected by how often a particular character summons the GF. But it can also be increased by the use of items specific to each GF, as well as the "Luv Luv G" item, which boosts compatibility with all GFs.

K. I guess I kinda messed up on that.
