Can you please tell me the NAME of that song in the episode "Karate Choppers"; the one that plays throughout the episode whenever Sandy and Spongebob start fighting? (I've checked to see if there was a "Name that song" topic on this forum but I haven't seen one so I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong board.)

Anybody that watches Spongebob that isn't four years old or something should fucking kill themselves and save society from the inevitable drain they are going to be throughout their life.

haha, Karate Choppers is actually my favorite episode. I know which song you mean, is that frantic guitar song, right? Unfortunately I don't know the title either :/

Maybe you can find a website on google that tells you the music they play during each episode. Or something like that.

I don't remember any guitars being in it. It has the loud trumpets/saxophones and then goes into a melody with a piccolo.

I've tried looking on Google. Wikipedia states that it came from the Associated Production Music Library but that site is so ridiculously huge its hard to find anything or any specific type of music genre. But like I said: I've looked on Google too so my main source isn't just Wikipedia as some of their resources aren't always correct. I've also tried Spongebob forums as well as other TV-related forums and have googled for hours on end about this song but to no avail.

Anyway, I'm just asking for a little help, please. And NOTE: If you have nothing good to say (or in this case, post) don't say (post) it at all. Lets try to keep the maturity level up.

Well actually i coulda sworn it was death rattle til i looked at this. Its a personal thing made especially for the episode:

In 2001, the band cut a new track called "Pre-Hibernation" which was featured in the "Pre-Hibernation Week" episode of the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.(this is from a wiki article)

I fthis is what your talking about(heavy metal song). If its not then you're talking about a different song that i cant remember

It is NOT Pantera - Death Rattle. The song has no guitars in it whatsoever. Out of any noticeable instruments played in the song, its the loud trumpets and then the piccolo melody. Remember: the episode is "Karate Choppers" NOT "Pre-Hibernation Week". (I don't mean to sound angry, by the way)

To clear this up, I just downloaded "Death Rattle" by Pantera. And like I said earlier: "It is NOT Pantera - Death Rattle". That song is not in the episode TITLED "KARATE CHOPPERS". Please read the first post so you know what episode I'm talking about. Once again, it is the episode "Karate Choppers" and NOT "Pre-Hibernation". Thank you.

um. thanks for the offer but im not sure what the names of them are. The first one I want is played on the ep when spongebob forgets ho to make hamburgers(the one with bubble bass). The song is played when mr crabs is trying to teach him how to make them agen. The second song is in the same episode when he is staring down bubblebass before the "duel". And finally the third song I want is played on the episode "Home Sweet Pineapple". The song starts up when sponge and patrick are building the new house for spongebob after the nematodes drink it. If anyone knows any of the songs i am talking about, please post em. (or the names) Thanks agen guys.

Haha, well I wasn't that bigger fan of it. =P Actually, I noticed my dad laugh at the jokes in it more than my 6 year old cousin. I think it's the characters that mainly appeal to the younger generation more, alot of the jokes in it could make anyone laugh.

spongebob promotes stupidity, there needs to be more kids shows where the characters are actually intelligent.

That's like saying the 3 Stooges promotes uncivilized behavior. Spongebob is just a TV show. . .that has to be taken in small doses.

Spongebob is designed for kids, it aires on a kids network channel, and therefore their prime audience is kids! They show it alot more than what could be cosidered a small dose, all i'm saying is they need to create more shows where the main character is intelligent.

Sorry but it seems alot of shows are just dumbing down :-\ not just kids show also.

Yeea, some of the jokes-I think- are sometimes adult related humor. I think the storyboardists (if that's even correct to say) are brilliant with their planning.

Anyway, THE SKYREAPER X, can you give me a little more time to find these songs? After all this Christmas and New Year planning I've finally had time to sit down and do some good ol' fashioned nothingness and help the needy forum users.

Oh I agree there is a lot dumbing down. Spongebob was supposed to be unique in that Songebob wasn't supposed to be the sharpest knife in the collection.(He's a sponge after all) It's unfortunate Hollyweird has to rip off Spongebob's mentality instead of trying to be original.

I will admit Nickelodeon animation has this bad habit of making characters who have one bad trait and instead of gradually getting rid of the bad trait they make it worse as the series progresses. Case in point - Most of the main characters in Fairly Odd Parents.

^ This is true and it is very noticeable in Spongebob (seasons three and up).

Well I hate to do this after I've kept you (THE SKYREAPER X) waiting for so long, but the page I used to get my "music in the episode" listing has been deleted. It was on Wikipedia and I guess they voted to delete it because it was a waste of space. The only other way I can help is to give you this link (http://spongebob.wikia.com/wiki/Music#Associated_Production_Music). It is a list of the music used in most of the Spongebob episodes, however, since Wikipedia deleted the Spongebob music page and it's discussion, I cannot tell you what songs are used in which episodes.

The list also pertains to music from the APM website (http://www.apmmusic.com/main.php). You cannot download music from this site unless you are a company but you can stream them through their website. When searching for a song make sure you use underscores for spaces otherwise you will not find your song. You can also try to sign up to their website but it costs and I haven't actually tried myself so I can't say much more than that. Sorry man :-\ If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Thanks a lot for your time and the link! Spongebob used to be a show with smart humor. i.e. Krusty Krab Pizza, Rock Bottom and the one with the magic conch shell. Some of the humor used in the episodes was just plain brilliant. LIke the bus bit in Rock bottom. But I read somewhere a while ago that someone else runs the show now because the original creator is no longer working on it. And its apparent from some of the horrible newer episodes that have been airing that all of the good ideas have been used up and they are just resorting to whatever nonsense they can come up with. An example of this is that $#@! episode when they were in medieval times. I watch the old episodes I used to watch when the show jus came out. But I think its safe to say that this show is quickly dying. At least in my opinion. Btw, Thanks again for the link.

You're welcome and I agree with you completely. Another example of resorting to nonsense is when Plankton calls his relatives to help him get the Krabby Patty secret formula. Very lame, and they even came up with a full name for him: Sheldon J. Plankton. Now when I watch the old episodes I will not view him as just Plankton anymore; only by his full name.
