I'm making this thread because I've decided to buy this game in the Spring when it comes out in USA and I'm excited about it. The Japanese release date is September 13th I believe. I have to buy a PSP to get this game but it should be worth it. Who else is gonna buy this game? :)

I'll definitely be getting it. This game looks awesome, and I already gave a PSP. I'm even tempted to import from Japan but that'd be a bit of a killer since I don't speak Japanese. :(

I'm buying a PSP just for this game! lol :D ... It looks like lots of fun, and Sephiroth is in it, everyone loves him, like me lol!, And Zack... It's going to be fun playing as Zack, at least I heard It was Zack you play as.

Well... I do think that this FF7: crisis core game is a great game judging the fact that it has new gameplay and the graphics are very good as well... I'll buy if I have a PSP. ^^

Really looking forward to its release, here in the US. Next Spring though, is a bit too long. It will be tempting to just purhcase the japanese version here, since the Toys N Joys store here provides imported games. My friend who works there is getting his on Sept 11.. lucky guy studied japanese so he understood every bit of the japanese dialogue. That sucks for me.. Oh well at least it'll give me more time to save up for the PSP.

By the way has anyone seen the Slim PSP with the FFVII design? I think it was like $400 or something. It looks awesome, my friend from the shop is buying that with Crisis Core, its just that... its so damn expensive. Is it even worth it? I'm an ff fan but, would I really spend that much? Hmm.. idk.

(w00t first post!) xP I have been hooked on this game for weeks, the graphics are amazing and the CGI scenes will honestly blow you away. I got the game with my FFVII PSP Slim bundle, I am an active member of the PSP scene but I made a solam oath that I wouldn't hack this PSP and thus I haven't I am also going to pick up the vader PSP slim. But I have some photos of the PSP, special edition game cover, as well as the incredible little Buster Sword wrist strap, I got this bundle off of Play-Asia for $428.80 (shipping included).

I was fooled by the "release date" that had been up on Wikipedia and other websites. I'm just glad I didn't ask for a PSP for my birthday/Christmas because I would be waiting quite a while. The game looks incredibly promising and I will definitely pick up a psp sometime around its release date.

can't wait til it hits the states...really want the ost...can't find the ost ANYWHERE...

I so want this game. I recently saw some trailers/previews on Youtube, and was like, "Is this Crisis Core? OMG!!!" I was blown away by the graphics, and couldn't believe it was actually a game at first, the FMVs were so cool.
So is there a set release date for the US yet?

I can tell you- without releasing any info i shouldnt- that it is an extremelly fun game. I purchased the FFVII CC bundle on play asia and don't regret a cent.

I still don't know when the release date is yet - did they actually announce anything?? I hope NA gets its own 'bundle' though. It'll be disappointing if we don't cause I totally held myself from buying the recent Daxter package.

I've seen games get delayd like this before, It might get canceled outside of Japan, worst case scenario.

Hm doesn't seem like anyone has mentioned the date, well for those whom are curious it's supposed to becomes to the states March 25th, I've already beat the Japanese version, but I'm gonna buy the US version anyways just to support an awesome game. The price tag is going to be around $40, and that's about all the info I got, when I go into work tomorrow, I'll check to see what else we have about it :P I love working at GameStop.

I just complete the game today and the last battle with genesis very hard to win,it took me 30 mins to fight with him(maybe i the only one fight the battle for so long)and the ending is very sad(the last moment with Zack) i cry just by watching the ending,before playing crisis core i already know that Zack with die in the end but still cant control my tear watching the ending.Those who want to watch the ending u can go to you tube and watch it,very touching.

Hell, I'd buy a whole PSP just to play this game. #drools over game#

I reserved a copy a few days ago. I have a feeling I'll be let down somewhat by it, but I'll probably enjoy it enough to warrant the purchase.

I Got a PSP At XMAS, And I Hacked It, And Now i can play Any game on it, Its Awesome, Im Currently Downloading Crisis Core, Cant Wait.

I'm bumping this up, here's my current situation...

I'm 72 hours into Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP, I have about another 15 hours left to beat the most important 2/3 of the sidequests and the game, this game is 10/10! I beat it on PS 1 already though...

I'm on mission 26 of 32 for Warcraft 3, the game is great but I prefer Starcraft and Warcraft 2 more. I will beat this game, then the expansion pack, then beat a lot of custom scenarios, and play some online games of this.

I'll still plan to beat Alundra 1(1998 ps 1 action rpg) after I'm done with FF Tactics(I'll be playing Warcraft 3 stuff while doing all my rpg's by the way), I still need to beat this game!

I'm going to be buying the day it comes out on June 24th Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for the DS, yea the release date was announced.

I don't think I have time, money, effort for FF VII: CC, although I acknowledge that it's great, like Lost Odyssey. But when considering video games only I can see how I'd want to get this game, but when I factor in my other hobbies that I need to attend to, I see less time for gaming and will remove Lost Odyssey and FF VII:CC from my game list.

FF Tactics(PSP), Warcraft 3(plus expansion, some custom scenarios, some online matches), Alundra 1, and FF Tactics A2 are the games I'm beating next. The other 100% critical ones won't be out for a long time(Starcraft 2, FF XIII, FF Versus XIII, and FF Agito XIII).

I hope everybody enjoys this game! It's going to be the prime rpg of the Spring I think. :)

Yeah, FFT is great, and good choice on Alundra, that's an old favorite of mine. Best Zelda clone I ever played unless you count the early Mana games. Too bad Alundra 2 kind of sucked. Anyway, I don't blame you for skipping CC. It looks good, but not that good. But prime RPG of the Spring? Nah, that'd be either Persona 3 FES, if it counts, being an expansion and all, or possibly Mana-Khemia.
By the way, since you're clearly into SRPGs are you going to get either Rondo of Swords for DS or Chaos Wars for PS2? The latter is kind of iffy since it sort of came out of nowhere, but it has cameos from Shadow Hearts and Growlanser. It comes out next month, as does Rondo.

Alundra 2 was made by a different team, with different story, characters, setting, and style of game, it wasn't as good, too bad, that's very bad, considering how great Alundra 1 was!

Persona 3: FES will be popular, but what is in this expansion pack? When you say Srpg's you mean tactical rpg's right? I won't get those games, I'm trying to keep the number of games I play down. If you meant real-time strategy them I'm playing Warcraft 3(and it's expansion, some custom scenarios, and some online gaming) right now and will get Starcraft 2 the day it comes out. Also I will download some Age of Empires games and Stronghold games. Btw, Ensemble Studios, who makes Age of Empires games, is working with Bungie Studios to make Halo Wars, a real-time strategy game in the Halo universe. :)
