My favorite always seems to change. First it was Gohan, then for a long time it was Trunks, But now My favorite is Vegeta.

ok first of all my fav was Gohan but then he turned int oa prick then trunks for ages......and now piccolo and vegeta are my favs......although having een all the movies i would have to say Tapion is definatly the best charecter from the movies

Gohan was cool till he grew up.
The early Trunks was cool too, but as the series went on he got weak. Then in GT him and Goten are just awful.

As i have said in previous threads like this im really not that fond of DBZ but the early DB manga is another story and i love almost all the characters in that. But i like Muten Roshi the most:

If i had to pick from DBZ then i'd pick Piccolo too bad he got ruined when the almighty you wait 10,000 years for one then 5 come along at once super saiya-jins.

I agree. The DBZ manga was better. My favorite character was Gohan, because he was a kid, just like I was(we were both around 7 years old).

I have a lot of favorite characters. There Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Pan, Videl, Brolli, Cell, Gogeta, Vegetto, Majin Boo, Gotenks, Yamcha, Android18, And Android16. well thats about it!

I would have to say Gohan on Namek, Piccolo all the time, Goku because he is kind, yet deadly, Vegeta because he is an all-round smart-ass :D Trunks was kinda cool, didn't like him too much... and probably Dende is my favourite because he is...cute cough cough and very wise for such a young age. That about raps it up but I don't really have a favourite out of them all, but Dende and Gohan are up there with the top.

If baddies count, it's obviously Freezer. I hate almost all good guys except Piccolo...:p

Freeza's pretty weak, though. Remeber how even Kirlin and young Gohan gave him such a hard time? I swear young Gohan could have beaten Freeza by himself. Freeza wasn't the strongest villain. Cell and majin Buu were way stronger.

best villain: cell--i mean, he basically had all of the z fighters whipped until vegeta distracted him for a second and gohan blasted the hell out of him.

best good guy fighter: this is a tie, either gogeta from movie #12. "I am neither Goku nor Vegeta, I am the instrument of your defeat." is the best line ever. or cell saga gohan. the best scene in the entire show was when gohan finally killed cell. I get goosebumps every time i watch that.

anyways, as far as the way they act, Goten is just hillarious. so.....yeah, those are my favorites in all the different catergories.

Are you joking? Krillin and Gohan didn't give Freezer a hard time... I don't know where did you see that.

And of course, Cell and Buu were stronger, but who cares? Every villian is obviously stronger, if not, it wouldn't make any sense. Freezer is by far the best villian to me; he's pure evil, not like Cell (though I like him too) or Buu (I dislike him), who are creations.

By the way, DBZ was supposed to finish after the Goku Vs. Freezer fight, so at first, Freezer was the ultimate villian in Toriyama's mind.

Gohan and Krillin so gave Freeza a hard time. Kirllin, who can't put a scratch on anybody, actually cut off Freeza's tail! And he was making Freeza dance with his disk thingy attack.

And I swear gohan could have killed Freeza by himself. He was hitting Freeza with all those combos, and he was getting stronger by the minute. Freeza was so weak.

Cell, on the other hand, couldn't be touched by anybody... at first anyways. Only a super saiyan at his best could defeat cell.

Majin Buu was almost immortal. He could regenerate himself even faster than piccolo.

Gohan could have never beaten Freezer, it doesn't matter how angered he was. If Freezer was never cought off guard, that would of never happened that way (and remember that he was in his 2nd form, using less than 10% of his real power). Even Super Saiyan Goku did not kill him by himself, how could Gohan do it?

And about Krillin... I still think you're joking. Yes, he cut a part of his tail, but think about that: Super Saiyan Goku could have been cut by this same attack (in the final battle). Does this mean that he was weaker than Freezer? of course not.

If you look at DBZ official power levels, Freezer's max. is 12,000,000, while Gohan roughly surpasses 100,000.

Sigh, Gohan got pissed off at Freeza and went crazy. Freeza was bluffing to everyone and then he killed Gohan and Krillin like that *clicks fingers* remember? Anyways, I think Cell is the coolest in his ultimate form, because he took out Trunks like that *clicks fingers again* as for Majinn-Buu, I haven't seen that season yet...

I still think Gohan could have killed Freeza. I mean, when they first got to Namek, he was still pretty much just a kid. And when they fought the guys from the Genuy force, he obviously improved during the battle. From then he just became incredibly strong. I'm pretty sure he could have turned super saiyan in that battle, just like Goku did. Gohan's a strong kid. He can defend himself, no problem.

I used to be a big dragon ball z fan and I read all the manga. I'm surprised that I still remember so much. The series ended way back at 95! It's already been 7 years.

Of course, Gohan really improved during his stance in Namek, but at this time he wasn't even a challenge to Freezer. He went Super Saiyan.. 5!! years later training with Goku in the ROSAT. It seems that you only remember the moment he was caught off guard... remember how Freezer (using 33% of his power) easily killed Vegeta, heavily stronger than Gohan. He also kicked Gohan's ass before Piccolo arrived, remember? This is so obvius it doesn't need to be explained...

Once again: Freezer is not the strongest villian, because he appeared before than Cell and Buu. Put it this way:

Freezer < Cell < Buu

Comparing their powers is stupid, because we all know every villian is stronger than the previous (Nappa is stronger than Radditz, Zarbon is stronger than Nappa, Recoome is stronger than Zarbon, etcetera etcetera). I like Freezer cuz he's pure evil, and to me is the coolest character of DBZ. Buu is a stupid pink bastard.

At least Cell wouldn't get his tail cut off by krillin's disk... and Cell and Buu are both strong. Who knows, maybe Cell is just as strong as Buu. I agree newer villains are suppose to be stronger, but Freeza was never a threat. Maybe it's just because freeza never had the upper hand. He just kept losing, and had to keep on transforming so he doesn't get killed. Goku had no trouble handling Freeza once he turned super saiyan. The freeza series was just long and annoying. At least give freeza an upper hand once in a while, goku, the poor guy was getting pushed around.

Mmmmh... the only time Freezer never had the upper hand was when Goku transformed into a SSJ. He killed Vegeta and Krillin, and won against Piccolo and Gohan. I wonder if we saw the same episodes... :D

Well, my favorite character is CELL, hmmm, if I can change position with Cell, I probably won't give Goku cs a chance to practice.I will just going to destroy their training places and kill all of them, after that the end, hahahahahaha :D

I believe we watched the same episodes. I just don't really remeber freeza getting the upper hand, though. What I do remember is that he kept changing forms because he kept losing. And when it seemed like he had the upper hand, goku turned super saiyan. Talk about bad luck. Poor freeza didn't have a chance at winning. Super saiyan goku was just toying with him.

Well you know, actually Freeza should help the Ginyu army, kill Gohan, Veggeta, and Kuririn, so he will gain immortal, and Beat Goku ;)

my favorite character(s) i have more than one though i basically like trunks and vegeta also dende. I'm not really fond or whatever of the evil people but out of them freeza was pretty cool but buu was ugh :notgood:

Yeah, I wonder why Freezer didn't power up at 100% at first. He was always fighting at non-full power. He could have killed Goku easily before he transformed into a Super Saiyan. I guess it's because bad guys never win:D My dear Freezer can't stand a chance against a Super Saiyan:)

If Freeza uses full power once he gets to namek, so will Goku. Whoever drew dragonball just wanted to make Freeza's death/defeat long and painful(annoying, IMO). I think Krillin, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo can handle the genyu force pretty easily(just gohan and krillin is probably plenty for the weaker ones). Vegeta can face captain genyu, and piccolo can help goku with freeza until goku turns super saiyan. Remember that goku also has sensu beans with him so the team is practically immortal.

If Freezer powered at full power Goku could have never beaten him, because he needed to transform into a Super Saiyan and experience true anger, and that would be impossible since Freezer would beat him before that would happen.

Goku's full power with the kaioken is 6 million, and Freezer's max. is 12 million. Pretty big difference, huh?

Hmmm, maybe. But Freeza was too cocky and arrogant. He thought he could handle Goku and the others easily, but he was proven wrong. At the earier tranformations he was getting whipped by gohan. And then when he finally uses full power, goku turns super saiyan. Talk about bad luck.

THAT's why i say bad people always lose just because some bad luck.But, anyway, I'm quite understand that if Freeza isn't lose, the story would be end. Don't worry at least Goku has already dead because of Cell.;)

Vegeta- He's cool even when he turns into a good guy.
Gohan- He was so cute when he was little, and is still cool when he's older (well I think so anyways!)
Chi-Chi- Is that how you spell it? Well I think she's so funny! Especially in the saiyan saga!

I also like Trunks....

Oh, and I know it's not DBZ, but Yomcha (again, spelling?) is really funny in just plain old Dragonball!

yes krillian is very cool. also it would be nice to see all the super powerful fighters leave for a while and let the others be the hero's for a change. its good when the do step in though. ie: tien vs cell. krillian vs vegeta/ginyu force/freeza/..etc

Yeah, some of the coolest battles were when the non-sayiens fought. :P Its not like I don't like Super Sayians and all its just that I would like to see Picollo fight the main bad guy for once and have a chance at winning. Like on Namek, I thought that some of the coolest fights were when Krillian fought.

Yes, GT is the sequel of DBZ, I always thought any eps. with Cell in it was part of GT. But now I realise that it's still Z. Do you know the sequel to GT? I heard it was MK which stands for Mega Kai. So the next one would probably be called DMK

Goten is small and although he doesn't become as powerful as his dad, Goku. He is still cool because he becomes SSJ1 really early on in his life

Yeah Goten is cool, but Trucks also goes SSJ when he is young. I really don't see how they could go SSJ tho. They were so young, and they never had the training exp. I think that Akira did it so that Truncks and Goten could fight in the battles and be at the same level of all the other characters.

That is true, but understand that the version shown on CN is the CUT version! There's a big difference between the cut and uncut versions of DBZ. I own some Managa books (DB), and it has a shit load of pervy jokes, a bit of swearing and that sorta stuff. A character was even called gay once. Again, not everyone gets access to anime everywhere in the world. Brits may call DBZ there fav anime 'coz it's the only anime they've seen because Anime is rarely shown and availaibe in the UK. I can only think of one highstreet store that sells Manga DVDs and Videos.

He doesn't like dragon ball, and that's fine because that's his opinion. Even with all the blood or language dragon ball is far from being a good anime plot line wise. The plot is ridiculous. It's just fighting one villain after another. The guys are also insanely powerful, so powerful it doesn't make any sense. Didn't they say that they are so fast that they can't be seen by the human eye? Then how come Bulma, Chi-chi, Videl and Satan(Hercule) have no trouble seeing them? And if super saiyans are so strong that they're not affected by any normal punches, how come Gohan hugged his head when a piece of wood hit his head? The story isn't consistent.

MY favorite is Gohan, don't know why I could always relate to him most. Maybe cause my dad started teaching me karate until I was old enough to go to his Sensei, an old Japanese man named Soke.

Just wish I learned how to go super sayain lol. Yes the cartoon network episodes are really toned down. I got into anime though when I was in middle school, friend let me borrow Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell and I thought they rocked. From there it was Akira and Tank Police and Sorcress Hunters, Bastard, ect. Finally I got into DBZ like 4 years ago when I started college lol. Kinda sad that the "newbie anime" was one of the last ones I've gotten into.

So my fave is Gohan ya.
