Check out teh extended trailer. It has the main character Chris Redfield shooting dozens of black people and only them! :O Graphics looks nice though but gameplay looks too similiar to Resident Evil 4 so far. :p

Re5 looks awesome, I personally cant wait to see what kinds of huge monsters they put in this one. I'm hoping for zombified African animals. Ach, I just imagined a zombie lion. That'd be trouble.

The first thought that immediately came to mind as soon as I saw the trailer for RE5 was, "someone's going to shout racism with this game".

I'm willing to bet that as soon as this game comes out, we can expect to see Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, NAACP, The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and others to cry racism with this game. Sharpton will probably say something along the lines of "The only thing missing from the game's "protagonist" is a white robe", or "This "Capcom" has created the perfect promotional tool for the KKK and other violent anti-black organizations". I also wouldn't be shocked to see him and others demand for the removal of the game from store shelves.

Possible garbage "racism" accusations aside, the game looks very good. I'm hoping Capcom has taken full advantage of the jungle environments. The jungle during the night should be one hell of an experience.

I saw this a bit back and thought it was decent. There are noticeable elements of RE4 in there but I don't see that as a bad thing though. Yes, Chris's biceps are way out of proportion and should lay off the steroids for a while. I don't think this game is intentially racist but I feel racist people will enjoy this game more than someone who isn't.

Sonic 3 is considered by the majority as the best in the entire series.

Resident Evil 4 is considered the most fun game in its series as well. Even if Resident Evil ONE is considered the overall best.

Resident Evil ONE is awesome just because of all memorable bad dialogue that to this day I still LOLz to...and of course the atmosphere is totally different from the rest of the games IMO. RE4 is the most adrenaline filled one out of them all and RE5 being pretty much the same is no problem for me.

Yeah, but there are only black people in RE5. And this is because the game takes place in Africa.
In RE4, there were only Spanish people.
In RE 1 2 & 3, there were only monsters, living dead, and Americans ^^.

RE5 can't be racist, I think it is good to change of environment, because before, it was always Raccoon City (a little bit boring ...).

Wow its really like a war in the comments. But hell you dont see hispanics going nuts over RE4 just because you kill them in a game. Repeat a game gosh this could go wild when it comes out. RE 0-3 was all white zombies. Plus it does make sence Japan is making this game so why take it out on this state. Even if a little of it is made here still Japan is doing it full credit.

So really what this comment boils down to is that when it comes to enemies in video games, black people are to be considered untouchable while everyone else, however, is fair game.

Zenigata brings up a good point at the end of the post. I think that this is all a stunt to bring a political aspect into the videogame. I think that the person who originally wrote the blog on it hasn't even played, much less heard of the franchise and that this is just a political stunt. I mean the game isn't even due out for another couple of years! So a lot of things could change over time. Complaining about this game is just going to earn it more publicity. Like the old saying: there's no such thing as good or bad publicity.
