I was wondering if it exists a complete score from Pirates of the Caribbean AWE yet, and where to get it?

hmm that's just a FLAC version of the OST (just finished downloading and extracting it)... it's not a complete score

I know for a fact it's missing the ending credit theme for one... probably more

There isn't a complete score available for any of the films. There are a few bootleg copies out there with tracks recorded from the movie, but the quality is cringe-inducing.

oh I see :( Any announcement on a complete release yet?

I hope so... dun wanna resort to a movie rip

In an interview, Hans Zimmer said that he was planning extended editions of the soundtracks, with new suite arrangements of leitmotifs such as Beckett's theme. So far nothing official has been made of these comments.

hmm is there anyway to get the Ending Credits then?

If there is no real Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (Complete Score), can someone cleanly rip the music from the film?

Many versions out there have a ton of sfx.

Thanks.

There is no such thing as a clean rip but I am currently working on one that sounds hundreds of times better than anything on the internet. The problem is my parents are not allowing me to upload anything, at the time being. I could guarantee that there is maybe a minute and a half of music from the entire movie that isn't on my score.
I've also considered just trying to get into direct contact with Hans Zimmer, or whoever may be necessary--I've heard within these forums that a real complete (SFX-free!) score exists.

Hey The Dimensioner

Request: Can you rip the score from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? Everyone has been waiting for a legit or nearly legit score for this film by Steve Jablonsky.

Thanks in advance. If the answer is yes, then take the time that you need. :)

SURPRISE!! I am working on one! It was supposed to be a secret, but for a request like this to come out of nowhere, it must befate. I am working on an expanded version only, and may take requests later on. The DVD audio is just too...loaded with SFX. However, I don't think it should disappoint. In the meantime, check out some of the other scores I've uploaded.

Also, I'm not entirely sure I will be able to post that score, due to the bans on certain record labels. I am already barred against sharing my complete Transformers 1 score :(

Was it the 5CD version?

The Dimensioner

Was it the 5CD version?

What? No! This is my own works. I don't know how many CDs it would be, but that 5CD version is bogus, if I'm talking about the same thing you are. Was it called the AllSpark Edition? Mine includes cues that haven't been released anywhere--which I got from the DVD audio. I've also mixed and edited everything to sound like the versions in the film. Barely anything from the original score is used in its entirety, and almost everything from the promo score is jumbled up or remixed. I just don't understand how we could have so much music from that movie, and still have so much more that is missing.

You know, "The Dimensioner", you could post the Transformers (2007) Complete Score [your version] on site:tehparadox.com where there is no legal issue with record labels. That's why so many BIG soundtrack, scores, bootlegs, etc. get posted there.

Thanks for the all the amazing scores you've done, and hope for the best of luck for future scores you will be releasing. :)

Guy named "Mr. Jones" claims to have a legit complete score for AWE. Anyone else calling total BS?

I call total BS. I just saw it. However, I think to get Sherlock Holmes or Inception is just as difficult to get complete At World's End. On the other hand though...why would he choose to bring that up here and now?

Well, I only said that because back before 7 got banned I remember he made a few comments about how a complete AWE was a rumor, and if it wasn't, it was almost impossible to find, which seemed contrary to when he said he had a friend who "had Inception but it couldn't be shared". But I suppose you're right in this case.

I've actually dealt with this "Mr. Jones" guy before. He offered the incomplete On Stranger Tides demos to me for a $25 iTunes giftcard along with some BS story trying to excuse himself from suspicion. Then, when I sent him a track list of a complete score I had under his request, he never responded to me and hasn't since. So I don't buy his AWE claims at all.

The Dimensioner
08-01-2011, 03:54 AM
Curious...well, now there appears to be a deal going down between him and Jimmer, the guy who started that topic. It sounds like Jimmer has a longer version of the demos which he will be trading and it also appears, despite my comment over there that Mr. Jones sent Jimmer the track list privately. So, it was Mr. Jones and not Dom Davis who was asking for the iTunes gift cards?

724921 also told me that he knew of one person who had the Inception recording sessions. A lot of these rare scores can't be shared not because the guys who have them are jerks but because they will get in huge trouble if they do. Sure the world will benefit from it, but he said RCP basically has a zero tolerance policy for letting things leak. That would possibly explain why it is a rare occurrence to see actual complete scores by Zimmer--let alone the bajillions of people who work under him.

...aaand we have a tracklist:

01. Hoist The Colours (2:44)
02. Singapore (5:37)
03. The Court Of Sao Feng (5:11)
04. Attack By The East India Trading Company (2:24)
05. Wills Treachery (1:33)
06. Davy Jones (1:55)
07. At Wit's End (5:01)
08. Orders For Davy Jones (1:59)
09. Sea Of Stars (1:50)
10. Good And Lost (2:14)
11. Multiple Jacks (6:45)
12. Davy Jones Locker (3:43)
13. "What Arr Ya Doin?" (1:23)
14. Souls At Sea (4:25)
15. Up Is Down (3:35)
16. Up Goes The Ship (0:17)
17. The World Use To Be A Bigger Place (5:56)
18. An 'Old' Friend (8:03)
19. Sao Feng's Ship (3:23)
20. Think Like Jack (4:31)
21. Choosing A Side (4:19)
22. Calypso And Barbossa (1:23)
23. Davy Jones And Calypso (1:32)
24. Shipwreck Cove (0:51)
25. The Brethren Court (2:15)
26. Davy Jones, A Man (3:13)
27. The Pirate Code (3:01)
28. How's Mum? (0:45)
29. Parlay (1:47)
30. Jack For Will (3:35)
31. Calypso (4:29)
32. What Shall We Die For? (2:19)
33. Maelstrom (6:42)
34. I Don't Think Now is the Best Time (10:02)
35. PArt Of The Ship, Part Of The Crew (5:05)
36 Just Good Business (4:51)
37. One Day (7:29)
38. Drink Up Me Hearties, Yo Ho! (9:57)
39. 10 Years Past (0:39)
40. At World's End (6:03)
41. Jack Sparrow New Theme (3:42)

And Dimension in answer to your question, it was a strange case; they both proposed taking a giftcard, but they were both very flexible when I tried to negotiate a different deal with them. Dom Davis actually ended up sending me the incomplete On Stranger Tides demos for a lot less then a trade or a giftcard...I don't know, it was strange.

But I'd be willing to bet Mr. Jones is Rick Rolling everyone, at least from what I've seen. This track list could have been easily forged.

I think it's indeed a new Fake bootleg , just judging on the titles : 13. "What Arr Ya Doin?" (1:23) 22. Calypso And Barbossa (1:23)
23. Davy Jones And Calypso (1:32) ??!! Seriously? looks like a tracklist done by a 13 year old

Ok. I know that a lot of us prefer complete expanded scores, i do too. But when the individual cues start being a minute or less, is it really a decent album to listen to? The suites are put together during release for that very reason, yes?

The Dimensioner

Some of the individual cues are a minute or less. I just grouped them into longer tracks for my version.

Quite strange tracklisting for a real complete/rec sessions

They usually have the typical codes about takes (like 1M1A ....). An even no track titles. Like the POTC4 demos.

I also think it is a fake.

Oh, and another dead horse that apparently needs to be beaten even further - no one knows when they're going to be "released", if ever.

How many times must I say this on these boards? I mean nothing personal, but its just really annoying when people ask stuff like that, especially to those of us who know that these things don't just fall into your lap at a given time and who actually attempt to do some work to dig them up.

Anyway, I ripped the tracks from youtube and converted them to MP3. If you're following the situation or interested in following it, you should probably head over to HZ.com. Either way, here are the three youtube tracks: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JK2O72KW)

He DID NOT say that a complete score doesn't exist. Of course a complete score exists. He just said he doesn't know of anyone who has the complete score. From old sources, I told the complete score took up four discs, and the complete scores to the other two films took up three discs. I couldn't even tell you who gave me that info, it's been so long.

Yes, you're right. My bad. He said he doesn't know of one. He has inside connections, he's in the business. I too had heard that AWE takes up 4 discs. That seems bogus to me. Return of the King is 4 discs, and that's a 4 hr movie. Fellowship and Two Towers are both 3 discs, and are roughly 3 hrs. I know AWE is around 3 hrs, but still....

I can't compare it. I don't have the music. All I can do is go off of tracks lengths and titles, assuming they're in the right order.

What is SW? Is that Star Wars? I haven't done any Star Wars edits, nor have I ever spoken of doing any.

The Dimensioner
08-13-2011, 11:37 PM
Yeah...that's not going to happen. That track list was originally shown off to tell people it was at least something more than someone BSing everyone. It was supposed to be acquired by someone else in a trade, but when the other guy traded, Mr. Jones stopped responding to his emails and the score never came through. Although I think the tracks are very much real, other people suspect they are from one of the highest quality bootlegs/DVD rips ever. It was possible that what he showed off wasn't even complete.
