Holy shit! He's good! His use of perspective is astonishing. God! I just realized on picture 2 that he actually shaded in a concaved shadow into the piece to give the impression that his hand is passing over a depression! That's detail right there. Question though: how did he do the overlap effect to cover his legs in the gold digging picture?

I'm guessing he's on his knees.

If I was Megaman I'd steal his power. Truly awesome.

We have a artist who periodically visits the islands here, Robert Wyland. He is best known for his Whaling wall Paintings. Anyway, he has a studio here and I have personally seen some of his Whaling walls here. He has a very good eye for detail and put his ideas to "canvas quite well, But what this guy does with just chalk and imagination is mind boggling!

I saw a documentary about the opening of something (I think it was the re-opening of The Aquarium of the Pacific), and he made some huge ocean life scenes.

I heard about some of his works getting shut down, because it was "Defacing public property"!

His response was "How is it defacing, if it washes off with water?" (or something like that)

I've seen photos of his work before. I think it's really, really awesome. The way he uses perspective to fool the eye is just amazing. ^___^

I once went to NYC and he was doing a chalk drawing on the sidewalk. From any other angle than the spot your supposed to stand the drawing looks like a big blur or a long smudge. But when you walk into the right spot it all comes right together.
