Someone told me that Square-Enix is planning to make a movie about Spira and most of the story of Final Fantasy X and X-2. Kazushige Nojma will be writing the script (same guy who wrote the scripts for FFVII, FFX and FFVII AC).

The thing is, the info on this was written on a french website, which doesn't exist anymore... So does anyone know more about this, because if this is true, I'm really looking forward to it!!!

If such a thing were true, it would be widely reported. It has not been, therefore it is not true. And thank heaven for that. Their last attempt at filmmaking was atrocious enough to make me hope they never try again.

Maybe you saw one of those bootlegged VideoCDs containing the FMVs from the game and mistaken it for the movie.

Those are fairly common here. I've seen VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2 and most recently, XII on some stores' shelves.

I wouldn't have thought they would do a movie on FFX-2. It wasn't a best seller for a game that has been done by Square-Enix. They seem more concerned with FFXIII at the moment and FF7 Crisis Core.

a movie based on 10 would not be bad a short movie ( like 10 minit or maybe 20 ) explaning how yuna changed so much for 10 to and mroe on pain`s life might not be bad eather but a movie pruely about 10 and 10-2 woudl probly bomb worse than doc ........ and i am a hugde ff fan when it coems to 7 i have played 7 over 10 times i have wtached the movie i own the movie but doc realy realy sucked and i have a feelign a movie based on 10 and 10-2 would bomb so much worse than that game it would be horrible enough to cause square to allmsot die again
