I don't know which is worse, Europe or Australia. Has Europe got FFX yet or the GC? Cause we bloody haven't. It really does suck.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I think the confirmed release date for FFX in the UK is May 30th, which is like half a year after the USA release, and about a year after it was released in Japan. I also heard on another board that we may have to wait until 2004 before FFXI is released here, which means that the Japanese and Americans will have a huge advantage over us when we start playing... online games really need to be released all over the world at the same time really...

The main problem in releasing games in Europe is converting from NTSC to PAL. This takes quite a long time; and then they also have to translate it into many different languages so that it can be released all around Europe at the same time. This means BIG delays for European gamers.

What the non-English speaking part of Europe gets what America does not get: High quality translations.

I hope you understand sarcasm.

Final Fantasy VII in German seemed like a beta version.
The translators of Grandia did a lot of hilarious translation mistakes that ruined most of the good scenes.

Europe rules. If you must know why, it's where the Metal scene is on top! Opeth, Napalm Death, and Iron Maiden rule!

Anyhow, I'm sure those games will be coming to Europe eventually.

Strange... UK release for FF X isn't until "July" according to Game. I'm not buying a PS2 until that game is out. And even then, I refuse to pay more than 200 for that bundle. Sony can go..... Well, you get the drift.

And there's "no planned release" for Wild Arms 2 in this country. Sony can go and.... again, you get the drift...

Sorry, I hate not getting games over here. Like previously mentioned, we've only just had FF VI released over here (hurrah, only 8 bloody years late!) It's great being treated substandardly. It means I can hang about until the console is dead cheap and then pick up the games cheap as I please (because that's how I feel with the way things are.)

Rant over, I'm off.

YES!

EUROPE IS THAT BAD!

i don't think it's fair for us europeans, i'm british, but that doesn't mean i dont like final fantasy cuz i love it. And there's some games, that we dont even get! chrono trigger, chrono cross, wild arms 2, fftactics to name a few. and we really want those games!

SQUARE! YOU BETTER GET A MOVE ON AND RELEASE THOSE GAMES CUZ THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF EUROPEANS WHO ARE FEELING EXTREMELY LEFT OUT!

including me...

No big loss there. The battle graphics were enough to scare me away from my tele for a good few hours..

I used to live in England, so I know that annoying waiting game.
I feel sorry for all of ya. ^-^
