I've been playing the electric bass for nearly a year now. I'm planning on getting a new bass, amp, and a few minor extras. I've decided on all but the bass. I've pretty much narrowed it down to these:
ESP AX-404 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-AX404-Bass?sku=513740) (Four String)
ESP LTD F-404 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-F404-4String-Bass-?sku=516774) (Four String)
ESP LTD F-405 (http://www.music123.com/ESP-F-405-Bass-Guitar-i758211.music) (Five String)
B.C. Rich WMD Widow (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/B.C.-Rich-WMD-Widow-5String-Bass?sku=512659) (Five String)
I'm currently leaning towards the F-405 mostly because I like the freedom of having five strings. The Widow has five strings and looks to be very well made too, but there seems to be a problem finding a hard case for it. I'm looking for any help deciding on which bass I should choose. Alternately, if anyone has any recommendations about basses that I haven't mentioned here, please fell free to post them.
