Here (http://wii.ign.com/articles/798/798639p1.html) is the article, and here (http://wii.ign.com/articles/798/798779p1.html) are the ESRB comments.

Personally, Im ungry about this. Videogames are not necessarily for children, and everyone knows that most Rockstar games are designed for adults.

It's sort of sad really. It could have been given an M rating (17+) but instead it is given an AO (18+). It's only a one year difference.

its a shame this has happened, hopefully they can win the appeal, and parents can take some responsability and not buy it for their spolit brat kids, who in time will become affected by it and ruin it for everyone else

Jesus Christ. What is it with people nowadays? If they don't agree with every little fucking thing, it all goes to hell. I'm moving to Mars. Who's with me? We'll start a socially permissive society without the NIMF.

This is completely pathetic, one little thing that people can't handle and it's banned or delayed.

It was pretty predictable that this was going to happen.
I'm not especially happy, but i'm pretty confident it'll be released one way or another.

Its quite a clever marketing plan really.

It's not a clever marketing plan if it's banned. It's like all the money that went into making the game was for nothing.

Besides, MPAA and ESRB are nothing but Nazis that think that EVERYTHING should be for kids. And if it's not, they ban it.

It is if everyone's in an uproar about it and then it ends up getting released as an M game.

Rockstar aren't naive - they know the boundries well and good, they know what would get the game banned and what wouldn't. But through this "banning" the game is gaining much more publicity than it would of without it, its been on the national news and papers. RS wouldn't let the sequel to Manhunt go without some kind of controversy now would they?

I have every confidance it'll get released, RS aren't stupid they know what they're doing. And as you said, they won't let their efforts and money go to waste at all.

Good point. Didn't really think about that.
