She should be but she isn't, the only person I can find over there is some guy who won't let me walk past his spot.

if i remember correctly, i think at one point she's also near the calm lands entrance, where you come in from macalania woods. try there maybe?

Yeah for some reason she won't appear at all, maybe I did something. I heard once that if you miss something, she will just never appear. Is the Magus Sisters Aeon really worth all this hassle anyways?

It's not the Aeon you need to worry about, it's the Sun Sigil which is required to power up Caladbolg (that's what the guy you mentioned is guarding. To get the sigil you have to beat the trainer with a time of 0:0:00. That is an absolute bitch.

Yeah I'm giving up then, even leveling up inside Sin is better than running back and forth across the Calm lands on a wild goose chase.

I think i prefer the aeon to the sigil. Although, the sigil's definately worth getting too.
Whatever you do, get the magus sisters! Most interesting aeon and act as 3 separate aeons when out on the field.

The Magus Sisters are unpredictable at best, and that fat cunt lady bug will always take a break on you. Whereas Caladbolg is tied with World Champion as my favorite Celestial weapon.

Fuck the aeon :p

They are only unpredictable if you keep making them do things they don't want to do. Let them do what they want now and again and they'll usually do what you want them to do.
They're easy enough to get, as long as you find the chocobo.

the chocobo lady is on the the piece of land you are on when you enter the calm lands from maccalania. and the chocobo lady is easy just try to sabotage her, like when you see a ird mauever it so you dodge the bird and force her to turn into the bird. it's really funny. though the controls are hard.

I give up, I can't find her anywhere. I'm inside Sin anyways, I'm about to beat the game, I'm not going back just to get one Aeon I've never had before and probably wouldn't like anyways.

If you can beat sin:head you really don't need them though their overdrive is a sight to behold.

If I let them do what they want, they cast Life2 and reflect. Then they bounce piss-poor spells. That's just not good enough.

Of course I use Aeons as meat-shields and little else. Just how I play. If you know how to/like to play with Aeons and spells you might be able to finesse them better than I.

My apologies, I was being flippant and tongue-in-cheek in my last post.

No prob, they are annoying sometimes, and the sigil does help more if you don't want to cheat your way through the last boss, (to be honest, using the secret aeons makes the last bosses way too easy

Neg

I'd have to say Caladbolg is cheating of the same magnitude. I killed Yu-Yevon in one hit with it.

What's so great about Anima and Yojimbo? Yojimbo has low hit points and he never hits for more than 9999.

Anima does alot of damage (esp. it's overdrive) and is good for status effects. It also has the fact that seymore had it and fans of seymore may want it. Yojimbo can kill enemies in 1 (even half or more of the bosses) with zantetsuken, i think it's called.

Ah, its overdrive, too bad it never lives long enough to get its overdrive for me.

Sounds like your Yuna is underpowered. Don't feel bad, my Yuna had horrible stats as well. I only maxed out her Agility so I could swap her in and out when fighting Nemesis. The whole "meat-shield" thing.

Don't you need to get all the Aeons, so you can fight all the aeons to get Yuna's celestial weapon? I can't remember.

EDIT: It's important to note that Yojimbo does not perform Zanteksuken if you have a full overdrive bar for him. It definitely increases the chances, but whether or not he does it is based on his affinity to Yuna, the type of enemy faced, how much you pay him, and some multi-variate calculus. There's a FAQ all about it on Gamefaqs.

My Yuna is not underpowered, she has about 4500 hit points and she will have even more after I finish touching up for my final battle against the 2 forms of Jecht.

You mean she doesn't have 99,999 HP? :p

I only say that because you said your Yojimbo wasn't surviving very long. Aeon stats are tied to Yuna's, as you are probably aware.

Anakin1980

Yes I know, he has about 3500 hit points but inside Sin that's like a turn at most.

Anakin1980

The whole point to getting the chocobo was getting the Magus Sisters so I can see how that happened.

Wow YES the sisters were worth it, I guess you just had to fight Belgemine at every possible opportunity and that was the first time I've done that.

how did this thread go past one reply?

She is in one of three places, whenever you step out of the calm lands (such as to the monster arena) she has a chance of being in a different spot.

1. The Entrance from Macalania (South end of Map)
2. The Exit to Mt. Gagazet (North East end of Map)
3. The very Northwest section of the map
