Ok, for instance when I try to d/l Armored Core 4 s/t, it automatically saves the game music to the "paint" program, and I'm not sure how to access it from there. Am supposed to be able to? Or is there something/somewhere in my settings that makes it go there I'm supposed to change??

HELP!! I've been waiting to nab some of these for so long and then when I find this site, NOW it's this nonsense...

WTF?

Maybe Windows is associating the MP3 file type with Paint instead of whatever program you're using for MP3 playback?

Or is that particular soundtrack a RAR file in which case you would need to DL WinRAR?

Newb. here. I see these files are in RAR for me. Never heard of it *blushes* what's a good site to download the thing to interpret this stuff? I'm leary about just d/l-ing the first site that says RAR "d'l here" :)

Help?

RAR is a compression utility that allows multiple files to be shrunk down for quicker transfer.

You need to install the correct program (WINRAR) to unpack the files.

Go to this link and click on the first file, WinRAR 3.70. Save it to your desktop and then install it.

WinRAR will automatically be associated with any of the soundtracks you DL here, and all you do is double click on the soundtrack you downloaded, and let WinRAR do the rest.

Hope this helps.

YES!!

Now, one more question; for instance I got the AC4 soundtrack and converted it to MP3 and put it in my iTunes; this thing isn't going to be erased in a few weeks is it? Cuz I don't want to go through all this just to lose all these tracks over time.

PS. THANKS!!

Nope. An MP3 is an MP3. You're not going to "lose" the soundtrack unless you decide to delete it.
