I completely agree. EA royally fucked up when they canned Frank Klepacki.

I read that they wanted Frank but he was busy with something else, and had no time to wait for him.

To bad, I was looking forward to hearing this...

Some tracks are ok, though nothing i'd listen to hours on end... its missing some rock/metal-ish type stuff like we got in generals, we can only hope the add-on will give us some better stuff

I'm begging you for some rapidshare or mediafire.com link to that soundtrack ;_; Megaupload is the worst shiat ever for me, there's no way to download from there for free :/

makes me sad that EA doesn't always follow the rules set by the original game company. The only things that were consistant in the C & C universe was Frank Klepacki's scoring(that's no more), Kane, Nod and GDI. That's it. Whatever happened to Kabal? Or any of the other characters introduced in prior installments? What about the lost? Honestly EA, should really have a quality control crew so that way things get done right for consistancy and continuity purposes.

It's called "Two Tribes", it contains music from the band "Think About Mutation".

I don't understand why this soundtrack is so difficult to find.
Well I can't find it at all, but there has been an actual soundtrack released.
I also prefer official things so I'll wait around, but I have to agree.
I have every C&C soundtrack (Except this one) and TW music is just... absolute crap compared to Frank's work.
It doesn't get you excited or involved with the game at all, although there was a little guitar riff played with my final battle against Scrin in the campaign which was alright.
Normally I just turn music off and have my own music playing in the background.

Actually mentioning all this... I think I now do understand why it's so difficult to find, no one likes it! :O

This is the OST, if by official you mean something on CD then you'll be waiting for a long time; EA only does online OST's these days it seems.

Well I haven't checked it out, another thing behind "official" is tracks that are titled with song artist, album etc.
I like things to be kept neat.

What's wrong with rapidshare?
It's really fast service.

I usually use shareonall. That way the file gets uploaded to different hosting sites. That way you don't have to deal with waiting times.
