Hi, can someone email me or post a message to help me get through Mount Gulug. I haven't played it in bit but I know i got all the treasures and I can go down all the way to the bottom where I can get to a big circle and a room next to it is a more colorful room with a bed. I don't see Eiko or the jesters. I feel like I'm stuck. Ask me questions if it helps you to help me.

Hey there celestegoddess,

Did you get any help on this yet? I had problems on this part, too. Not sure how much help this will be but here's a few questions: did you fight the three sets of red dragons yet?

There's one dragon you fight once you get to the end of the right-hand tunnel. (There's a set of staris with a note that you read, saying that the well wheel needs to be turned two times.) The dragons will jump down from a rooftop.

Fight two is right after you meet one of the moogles, Mogata, I believe (the one with the mogshop). Go all the way up the stairs, into another room, and another red dragon will come through the wall to fight you.

Fight three is at the bottom of the well. The red dragon will come through the side of the well. Once you beat that set of dragons, go through the hole they created and it should get you into the next sequence with the gang rescuing Eiko-chan.

The room you found is actually where you need to go after fighting the Gulug boss. If no one is in it, you might have left something unfinished up above...

No, no one helped yet, but I can't seem to find the red dragons. I talked to all the mogs, i know i read the signs or at least 2, but I don't know what happened.

Think if I use a game genie code so i don't get random battles, (so i can roam freely faster) that the dragons will still come?

Wish there was a way to start the area over with.

But I think you've probably missed the red dragons, and that's why you can't complete the level. I also think they're not "random" battles, so I'm not sure what the game shark or game genie codes will do...

Did you fight any dragons at all?

As far as starting the level over... I'm not sure, maybe that's what you have to do. :uh?:

yes i have fought some red dragons, because I found places that tell tail signs about it. but maybe i'm missing one somewhere, but not sure where. man i've been everywhere so i guess i'll keep trying. But there isn't a way to start the level over from the beginning. It's not like Abe's Exodus where I can actually do that. I haven't had the chance to play it so I can't tell u about any luck.

Okay, that being said...

How many red dragon battles did you fight? You should have fought three of them. The one that's easy to miss is in the room above Mogtaka, the mogshop moogle.

Keep going up the stairs. You'll end up back outside of the shack, with one door behind you (which is the one you just came out of), and one to your side (I think it's on your right side.) Go into that door. You'll see a platform to the right, and a tresure chest in the back. Head towards the treasure chest, which I think has either Elixir or Ether. A red dragon will crash through the right-hand wall. Kick their butts, and move on...

For the other two fights, well, I've posted where those take place. Maybe you should just start the level over... :uh?:

This is all new to me as far as I can remember. I don't remember ever losing eiko.

there is like no way to start a level over so how can that even be a way to go about it!!! I got the red dragon, with the elxir already.

I've only started disc 3. Whence I get to this "Mount Galgug", I'll re-edit this post and help you. At the rate things are going, I shouldn't have any trouble, as the only trouble I've had this whole game is watching garnet be sad. Very very hard....

Edit: GOOD GOD! This place isn't all that frustrating...it's just the Red Dragon's....DAMN those things are strong...well, I'd reccomend to just get to level 45, which i what I'm doing right now. Hopefully then I can kill these guys.....good lord..

OK. The problem I had was when you go down the rope in the well, there is a lever to the left of it. Press it three times and the rope goes down farther and after that is Eiko. Thats all I can say.
