Im gonna guess Tales of Destiny (PS2) Dungeon.

Metal Gear Solid 3: The game sets a high standard for any stealth game now.

AceCombat 5: A great story, great music, an amazing amount of aircraft to choose from, great gameplay, and awesome direction make this a definite best game.

AceCombat Zero: Same thing. It's not an expansion game at all, it's its own separate game with a different cutscene direction, different music, but the same sort of gameplay and excitement you expect from an AceCombat game.

Front Mission 4: I'd say Front Mission 5, but they never released it in the US. The game wasn't that great in terms of music or story presentation, but the gameplay, customizable Wanzers (robots), pilot and machine skill systems, and story did a lot for this.

BLACK: It's gun porn. The story is hard to follow, the weapon ballistics are bad and weapons are unrealistic, but wow, this is a great game to look at, play and listen to. Think of a Michael Bay or Ridley Scott directed video game.

I forgot Ace Combat 5. That game was good. Zero disappointed me though.

Zero was my favorite from the entire series (Don't have a PSP, so I haven't played X). I guess I liked seeing the different aces I could take on and see what they'd have to say about my flying. Honestly, it had better replay value than AC5, and I think AC5 was a bit slow.

Mind you, both games are still great.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - awesome game with the greatest ending ever

God of War - epic adventure with stylish combat, though a bit too easy, the presentation is top notch

God of War 2 - more of the same, but a more polished experience

Dragon Quest 8 - amazing RPG. I just love how old school it is, yet the presentation makes it an awesome expirience. Love the sense of adventure it had, and the characters were great. Epic music too.

Final Fantasy XII - I think the political aspect of the story was fresh and a nice change from other rpgs. The game had great gameplay, a great unique world to explore, tons of stuff to do, and it has Balthier. And who does not love Balthier.

Shadow of the Colossus - Pure art. I was so moved by this game, its just sooo beautiful.

Xenosaga Episode III - amazing story

Resident Evil 4 - the most perfect action expirience you'll find in gaming. The gameplay is just so intense and its hard to put the controller down.

Okami - GREAT artstyle, huge world to explore, and filled with pure epic godliness.

I think the best games on PS2 are Grand Theft Auto: San Audreas and Metal Gear Solid 3. These are NOT even close to being my favorite games, but for most gamers who aren't into a lot of RPGs (and most gamers aren't), I think these would be the best.

The PS2 has had so many amazing games, just like the PS1 did when that was big. The support from developers has been immense for both consoles over the years.

Dude, you're the first person I've heard say that on the Internet and I couldn't agree more!

The first Jak and Daxter game was awesome. The graphics were great, with the colourful and creative environments really shining through.

The second was amazing and drastically different from the first, but it still worked out excellently for the series.

The third just felt like an add-on to the second, with the missions being much more un-creative then in the previous and it also felt a great deal shorter.

^Me and a friend co-op'd that game into submission in about an hour and a half. Looking back on it, I think it was horrible, but at the time I thought was awesome.

That is one of the most repetitive(sp) button mashers out there. I'll admit that I own DW 4 Xtreme Legends, and that it's fun to play for awhile. But making a game that is virtually the same no matter what character you choose to play as (sure the levels slightly change, but it's all the same shit), and that the multiplayer is rediculously simple in almost every one of them (I haven't and will never play some of them) your favorite is highly hysterical and makes me wanna check to see if you know what a video game looks like.

I became a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series from the third installment. From there I found out it was loosely based on a novel written in the 14th century by the playwright Luo Guanzhong, which in turn is based on actual events from Chinese history starting with the decline of the Han Dynasty (circa 169AD) to a reunification of China under the Jin Dynasty in 280AD. It was the novel which fully brought me into the Three Kingdoms banner, and enjoy the Dynasty Warrior series as well as it's spin-offs (Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi and Dynasty Tactics, as well as the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games).

Yes I'm a fan of Dynasty Warriors, yet unlike the Bouncer, there is a story to the DW games. Also, as the DW games are loosely based on actual events which did occur in history, makes the game more appealing to me.

Following the tried and tested formula of 'If it aint broken, why fix it?', imo the DW games are great games. I don't care if you don't like them or if ten other posters here don't like them. I enjoy them and that's all I care about. I do have to ask if you know what a video game looks like, as I do have other gaming interests, which if you take the time to remove your blinders you will see I listed other games in that list.

I do read my responses before posting them. It's called 'Preview Post'. If you don't like what I have to say, fine with me. We all have our own opinions about what we like and what we don't.

I like Dynasty Warriors as well... Yue Ying is prettier in Dynasty Warriors 6 so is Xiao Qaio and Diao Chan and Zhen Ji

SUIKODEN IV?!? Are you SERIOUS!!! That's the WORST game in the series (only tied with Suikoden Tactics/Rhapsodia) for crying outloud! IV is generally considered by the majority of Suikoden fans to be the worst.

I'd tear into you more what with the abomination that is Kingdom Hearts, as well as having Final Fantasy X and XII, but after Suikoden IV... I'm just shocked that someone says Suikoden IV is one of the best games on the PS2... shock I tell ya.
