Hello all, not sure if many of you would have heard of this game (though obscure games alway seem to gain fame), its called Blaze & Blade: Eternal Quest, it came out in the US on PC and in PAL areas on the PS1 (not sure about the Japanese version, i'm guessing PS1 or both), its a great RPG that never really made it big due to horrid graphics and a story that didnt really stand out (i'm guessing there was also other reasons like bad marketing and so on but bah.....), what really makes the game is the fact you can play up to 4 at the same time and you have a massive selection of classes to pick from... But i'm not here to talk about how great this game is...

I've always guessed that Blaze & Blade was a series title, but i could never find any other game in the series, so i guessed that due to its 'low profile' no other games were released...

BUT! today, i just heard about another called Blaze & Blade Busters that was released on PS1, i can find nearly nothing about this game so i'm woundering if any1 here knew anything...

What i want to know mainly is:

-Is this game actually something new? is it just the Japanese name for Blaze & Blade: Eternal Quest (1 released in the US and PAL)?

-Was it ever released in an English speaking country?

I hope you guys can help...

I have Blaze & Blade for the PC actually! It's sitting in my room with the original packaging and everything.

I don't know about a possible sequel however. It's indeed very likely that it was release in the US and Japan under different names. As this happens more then once.

I've actually looked into it, and Busters is indeed a sequel only released on PS1, it seems it actually has some data sharing features with the 1st game, a rare feature that even games this gen, and last didnt (or atleast nearly) use...
I'm still not sure if the game was released outside of Japan, though i'm really doubting it, i think i would have heard of it if it was... but incase i'm wrong; any1 know if it was indeed released outside Japan?
