I'm in the desert palace and the only thing I've to do now IS GET OUT!! but how do I get to the world map I can't find the exit!

Have you tried lighting up all the candles

I already beat the boss and now eiko has been kidnapped and I was told to get to that big ship which got me to the forgotten continent but that wasn't there so I have to get back to my own ship which is on the world map but I don't know how I get back there....................

Just go to where the Hilda Garde used to be docked. It'll be gone, but there's a ladder there for you to exit into a "desert" scene. You'll be on the edge of a precipice with a rope ladder to your left. Zidane will kick and swear and generally harp about how Kuja got away.

There's a lever there that you pull to drop the ladder. Go down the ladder into a (very well-rendered) desert path, then follow it down to the left, off screen. You should get back to the world map then.
