Brand new around these parts...so yeah
Just to start off without looking totally n00b-ish, how many of ya'll go to conventions and if you do go, which ones have you attended or attend.

I'm here in Texas and go to A-kon here in Dallas. Great Kon if I may say so myself and it's been lots of good times since I started going.

This year was the first year I've attended an out-of-state con, with Anime Expo in Chicago. (It was okay, but it just didn't feel like something I'd REALLY go out of my way to attend every year. Still, I did get a copy of the second "Bleach" DS game out of the trip, so it's not all bad. Heh!) But annually, in a nearby county, I attend the J.A.F.A.X. convention. This year's going to be different, in that I'll be volunteering, instead of attending.

Hey there. I am attending Anime Expo this year which is June 29-July 2nd. It's going to be in Long Beach this year. Though, I really wish we could've gotten the Anaheim convention center. oh well. I'm a staff member.

Gonna be there at Anime Expo too, though quite sad it's leaving the ACC. It's just down the street from my house xP Either way, looking forward to it, as well as cosplaying as a Ragnarok Online character of mine, playing various Bemani arcade games, possibly going as Raito from Deathnote like I did last year, and enjoying some well-need anime-related activities. Exhibit hall, concerts, all that good stuff.

You'll most likely see me then. I'm staff in the exhibit hall. At the info booth.

There's none in my area. WHICH SUCKS!

I'm also looking at attending Animefest which is also in Dallas...not sure if I am to make it though, but what the heck! =^^=

Went to my first Anime convention this year. Sakura Con in Seattle. Pretty fun. Next time I'll know to pre register and bring an @55 load of money. So much stuff to buy combined with such a flat wallet kind of ruins the experience.

Anime Expo, and yeah, it would have been better in anaheim like last year

I went to Anime Detour which is in Minnesota. That was my first one and it was pretty fun. I went as Simca from Air Gear. Anyone else cosplay??

I do a little cosplay. I went to my first convention as Ranma Satome and I was a slave to a mistress catgirl (don't ask). My second one I was just robed up in Jedi gear. And the third one was more Jedi. I really wanted to get some material together for a Masamune Date (Samurai Warriors) cosplay, but I am unsure how to get all that together.
