Its an audio recording. The quality is great though.

Just checked the Manor. The music does not change. Its always the same theme.

Actually i just downloaded the bonus DVD and it seems the tracks are on the DVD, but if the collectors came with a soundtrack CD then theres no need to rip it from the DVD since its uploading.

Yes and no. The german collectors edition came with 2 DVDs. One for the actual game, the other with the 40 Minute long Gametap documentary, trailes for for TR4 to 7 and 13 exclusivly mixed tracks for Legend and Anniversary.

Some european countries got the collector edition with 2 DVDs and an extra audio CD with the soundtrack.

Yes, and it sounds pretty good. The tracks from Legend also contain some snippets from the cutscenes. The latter part of the Bolivia track is from the final cutscene of the game for example.

They did a great job on the official Soundtrack CD.

There are 2 disk en 3 disk versions of the collectors edition depending on your country.

not sure if this is what you meant. but at 0:36 it breaks into some light piano playing the melody. and the piano comes in here and there through-out the piece.

maybe when you got to the pool that part just happened to come up in the song. i don't think there was a different song just for the pool area.

Well you havn't missed much, just a documentary, previously published trailers and artworks and the "remixed" music tracks of Legend and Anniversary. The best things are unlockable excerpts from the score and the commentary feature - but those are directly in the game. :)

There are definitely two versions of the manor's theme. As Jemeela noted, the second variation adds some light piano notes when you're walking outdoors (or indoors, can't remember).

Damn this PSP version is hard to rip, everything is in just one DAT file and when i scan them for files, it only spits out the ambience sounds.

Sorry, I didn't listen to them myself, just googled that. I thought that thread was complete, but apparently it too doesnt. have the official disc. The bad news is I did another google search, and I can't even find dead links outside of FFS. Finding OSTs in FLAC is usually hard enough due to dead links, but when dead links aren't anywhere to be found elsewhere, it spells trouble. Perhaps you should make a request in the request sub-forum. Hopefully someone who has the CD will see it and rip it. OTherwise, go on Youtube, search for "your game OST review" and then PM that mersage to request ripping their own CD's.
