I love Killswitch. I saw them this past winter at the Worcester Paladium with Chimera and DragonForce. They're amazing.

I'm not sure about the new singer - I think he has a good voice and everything, but unfortunately… I think he's missing some of the raw intensity (i.e. conflict) that the original vocalist had. As well, I enjoy the old(er) lyrics more, if they weren't more honest (direct) they were closer to values I hold.

New material seems more mature (they're getting old or tired or something).
Alive or Just Breathing is my favorite disc of theirs.

And if it's not clear from my bobbing around I freaking love KSE.

i love them. Ive been trying to find there cover of holy diver as a matter of fact (originally done by dio).

Haven't heard much of thier music but from what I have I'd say they're pretty good. Not one of my favorites, though.

I think I've only heard a couple of their songs, but I guess they weren't too bad.

Killswitch are a good starting point to getting into better metalcore.

Listen to August Burns Red, Vanna or Inhale/Exhale.
They're all brilliant and in a similar sort of vein.
