Hello. I know that the Game Boy Color is now dead but there is still less existance in my country (I can plan to buy the last Game Boy Color if I could).
Regarding Pokemon, is it okay if... we can play in different color of version? Example, I'm playing Yellow Version (Special Pikachu edition) and my cousin play the Blue Version. I don't know what explanation I could tell but hope you understand the Example.

I'm sure it's okay. You will each need your own GBC and a link cable to trade amongst yourselves.

Get Crystal version, though.

But, what about Ash' journey (Blue, Red, Yellow, etc.)? Does linking won't work?

Linking will work. Yellow is part of the original generation game, and should have no problems trading/battling with red/blue versions of the game.

However, realize that red/blue do not take advantage of the GBC's infrared connection (not sure about yellow). You need to get a link cable and connect both GBCs together.

Thanks for the advice and I don't need infrared. I appreciate that.
