Teleport Stones you shouldn't sell either, if you didn't already assume that. xD

Well, there's a couple of items that are used in multiple recipes that you should hang onto, so you can synthesize all those recipes and only use one set of the item in question.

Notably, if you get High Arcanas, hang onto them until you are ready to synthesize your tournesol. Check out the XII page on GameFaqs and find Sephirosuy's Loot/Bazaar guide, it is indispensable.

I'm not as angry now that I know you can buy them. I was under the impression they were pretty rare. But chaining 100 of those yensa guys (was getting level 3 quickenings to deal with demon wall 1) I noticed every so often one or two would drop.

You can also get the bats in the Lhusu Mines to drop Teleport stones rather than having to buy them. That's how I got most of mine.

Don't sell Bhujerban Madhu in stores.

Sell it to people in person for more money.

That's good to know. I was wondering if I should hang on to the rarer loots or just sell them at the shops to get more bazaar items. (I'm very early in the game)

It's probably best to hold onto the rarer loots for now, until you know what they are giong to be used to synthesize. You don't waste any then. Mind you, early in the game you can't really synth any of the re-appearing items at the bazaar anyway so it's not a problem.

Just don't sell the great serpentskin when you get it, and hang on to rare loots later in the game, mainly high arcana's, gemsteel's, empyreal soul's and serpentarius's.

Oh, and if you want to start getting some good (though not necessarily ultra-rare) loot early, it helps to get the Monographs right away. This was a trick that I myself found out about rather late, but you get most of the monographs based on the number of times you've "visited" certain types of stores. So if you have some patience, you just sit there and keep going into the "store" menu and then canceling out and then eventually, it shows up in the Bazaar. Of course, the monographs are pretty pricey, so it may take a while to come up with all the funds.

The only annoying thing about the monographs are the Pebble's... god I hate them.

the only thing worse than the pebbles:

Is the bazaar item which sounds OK until you buy it- memories of yore= 99 pebbles

I had bought the Memories of Yore out of curiosity before boarding the Strahl on my last playthrough. I was hoping for something useful. Oh well. xD
