I completed Yu-Gi-Oh World Tournament on the GBA 100% and I have a bit of a deck too, though I never play. I plaed YVD one time and thought it was fairly poor D:

The general quality for Yu-Gi-Oh games is quite low. I used to have one for the GBA, but it was way too easy. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragons were easy to come across.

BEUD really isn't that great of a card unless you're pulling off the 1 turn KO with Stein/Megamorph or just teching it with Stein.

Though I have no idea what cards are in the newer games or if they even follow a banned list./

I think each game follows the ban list at the time of release, though I don't really like the ban list anyways.

I follow the Advanced and Traditional Rules, My Advanced Deck (Real-Life) has Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as a fusion

I just stopped playing once they banned half my deck. May have been 3/4th, actually.

I don't see the point in having blue eyes ultimate dragon, it's pretty unlikely that you'll get three blue eyes on the field at once anyways. My tactic was all about having lots of strong 4 star monsters and boosting their attacks with those boosty things like mage power. I also had Jinzo because he is great.

BEUD was used with Stein. Have a clear field, pay the life, attack with Megamorph and you win.

I think Scientist can bring it out too but I haven't played so long I don't remember.

TOO BAD THEY BANNED THEM ALL

Scientist is Banned and BEUD you can summon by offering Two BEWDs and a Fusion Substitute (Like Goddess with the Third Eye) from your hand, I use that usually with Fusion Gate

Yeah, level 4 monsters can be insanely useful and can easily win you the game if you have good cards to combo them with. I own my brother all the time with my deck because his is built around strong monsters (e.g. blue eyes etc.) where mine is built around strong level 4s and magic/trap cards (of course, still got some higher levels like dark magician, summoned skull etc.), i've never lost to any of my siblings heh.

Also, if you ask me, the Yu-Gi-Oh video games are crap. The TCG on the other hand is very unique (atleast i've never found another TCG like it) and very well made. Definitely commendable amongst trading card games in my opinion.

Hah, did any of you know there was an online Yu-Gi-Oh game for the PC?

Yes i Do, but you have to Pay money to play basically, similar to World of Warcraft

JoeBob

It's similar to WoW? How the hell is it similar to WoW? I thought it was just card battling...

MossY

I think he means it in the monthly payment sense.

JoeBob

Ah yes, that makes more sense now. Still, if you're talking payment wise, it's the same as many other mmo's and services, so using WoW as an example isn't very... i don't know, the word i'm looking for isn't coming in to my head at the moment. But yes, i find paying for an online Yu-Gi-Oh game MONTHLY to be the biggest waste of money ever. Sure, paying once for the actual game is obvious, but monthly fees? i mean wth. Couldn't you just use wi-fi mode on one of the new yu-gi-oh ds games?

Tailsfan

True on that one, but I unfortunately don't any of the new Yu-gi-oh! DS Games yet

I believe that the best Yugioh game thus far has to be the PSP one, the Yugioh GX Tag Force, after playing it the ones on the Nintendo consoles felt kinda outdated or stripped down, the lack of updated clear graphics took away from the DS ones, however the PSP lacks the 3D models, though that really isnt something to be critical about because the DS models look ugly and hideous. Though the PSP one has FMVs for the main characters key cards, DS has more for the rare monsters. Though ultimately having both is the best.

I need to get back into getting the cards.

I would probably like the DS ones more for the online modes
