anyone heard anything interesting about the new FF Tactics game on the GBA?

It IS possible, not just a rumor...but things change, and games arent always released just because they can be.

It depends on how they do it, I'd rather them re do FFV and FFVI for the GBA, they would be easier to keep the old graphics easier, and transfer them (since they are 16 bit made games, not 32bit, like FFT).

Well... I'm really sure it's going to be released on the GBA... knowing that Square won't back down on their agreement to Nintendo. The Lion War will follow you around in your pocket!

I hope we see some kind of FFT's again. Whatever system.

I disagree. All the other remakes were good if not better than the originals. Imagine being able to play FFT or any other FF for that matter anytime you want. This is prbably the only good thing Nintendo has done right in the past 4 or 5 years *thinks of "new and improved" cartonny Link and weeps" :notgood:

Hey i'm all for FFT2 IF it stays true to the original.i've read somewhere at www.gamespot.com a interview with one of the creators that said FFT2 is coming to GBA.

Well, I guess that means I'm going to have to get a GBA so I can play FFT2, I really liked that game, and I hope that that one stays true to the original.

It's definitely coming. I saw a strategy guide on the net in the works for the GBA version.

If you want a tactical RPG for GBA, check out Tactics Ogre. I think it was made by the same team that made FFT.

I'd rather they'd make FFIV for the GBA, that game's awesome

but it'd be better if they made remakes of FFIV, FFV, and FFVI for GBA in one game, like anthology/chronicles, and they could maybe put Chrono Trigger in there too, if they did that I'd be willing to pay over $100

Speaking of Golden sun(Sorry to go off the subject), I've been waiting for the sequel ever since I beat the game

Er, I havent beat golden sun (this is the last time I'll post sumthing like this) but anyway I hope that there are more Final Fantasy titles besides FFT remade on the GBA it'd prolly make the system worth the $80 I spent on it

I have been waiting for a sequel to tactics for like ever, it is easily the greatest game of all time, followed closely by SoA and some others.

I sincerly doubt that it will be as good as the original which is the only game that I've replayed over 10 times.

BTW I bet I have beat it faster than anyone here, 15 hours... hehehe

Im pretty sure that graphics wise, the game wont quite be the same. However, I heard they are making a remake of Lunar for GBA, which would turn out well. But they do need some original RPGs, not just copoffs.

GBA is a 32 bit masterpiece, wich equalises the playstation.
and final fantasy tactics will be converted to GBA.
it will not be shitty...it will be a dream come true for most ff fans. like me.

Notice how Golden Sun was only around $30. It turned out to be a great game!!! My point is if they DO make Tactics they MIGHT sell it for $30 hoping FF fans don't have GBA or don't like it. But thats just what I think and I'm a cow!!!!!:D
