I know this might be somewhat of a strange request but I'm into all sort of video game music I would just prefer to have them in quality that's as close to the original source (CD rip, recording) as possible. So my request really is for any video game music you may have as long as it's lossless quality (FLAC, WMAL, ect).

I'm already getting some wonderful Final Fantasy music in this quality from fast_eddie's thread:

I am willing to provide links to FREE/Open-source programs and also step-by-step instructions on how to RIP, encode, zip and upload these files if anyone is kind enough to do this.

I can post lossless FLAC files of Sonic Adventures 1 ~ Director's Cut~. It's a 2 disc album. I have the genuine original album that I ripped the FLAC files from myself. I can also provide a CUE and a LOG file if you want those as well. It's an absolutely classic album, AWESOME VGM!

Awesome! Too bad I won't have access to a computer tomorrow or Friday, I guess that I could try snatching it up over the weekend but even then it might be difficult.

So what file hosting site do you intend on using? Some of them a horrible, like MegaUpload because they remove the links so fast, sometimes with a day or two. Torrents always seem to be best but then you have to worry about seeders and having too many leechers.... I do happen to know of a site where a torrent to this soundtrack would be perfect and they can keep it alive. :)

It will probably go on up on my own server with disguised file names and different file extensions, although if I do that I will be sure to make sure the files are uploaded as binary and not ASCII.

If you're able to do this over the weekend that would be great. I have to leave again on Monday for like another 5 days so I'm hoping that I can bring this great album with me.

The filenames and extensions are not disguised at all.

As I said before, it is in FLAC format. However, there are no CUE or LOG sheets, as I don't have time right now to rerip the discs. Please let me know once you have downloaded all of the tracks so that I can remove the fiels from my account on the server.

For Sonic Adventure 1 Original Soundtrack - Directors Cut, could you please re-upload songs 1, 14, 15, 24, 28 from disc #2? If you click on those songs it'll give you a "Page Not Found" error.

I had given up on this request long time ago so it came as a complete surprise that someone would bump this thread with not another request but an actual offering of the soundtrack. I just want to say that it's very much appreciated. :)

No worries, I know it can be difficult to get some of these albums, even on the Internet. I am still amazed that after over ten years of downloading VGM I am still discovering new artists and games that I enjoy the music from. I started downloading back in the day when there was a video games music room in AOL, and downloading a typical MP3 file would take several hours over a 14.4 Kbps baud modem. Plus I could only play MP3s using Macamp on my mom's 'advanced' PowerPC Macintosh from her school. Oh boy, the memories ;-)!

Yeah, I most definitely want "Cuts Unleashed", I really like the song "Fly in the Freedom", it's catchy.

Any chance the other 2 you posted links to can be uploaded in FLAC format or any other sonic games like Sonic 1, 2 or 3 & knuckles?

I'd like the lossless FLAC rips from Sonic Adventure 2 if you please.

HUnfortunately I do not have any FLAC files of Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic 1/2/Knuckles, or the Sonic Adventure Vocal Songs with Remix+ album (this last album I may still have, but it is actually a bootleg, and usually I only rip FLAC files from authentic discs). However, For Vrantheo and others I could upload FLAC files of Sonic Adventure REMIX. I know it's been almost a year since Vrantheo's request for this, but if you still want them just let me know and I will get onto uploading it.

So you still have Sonic Adventure REMIX in FLAC available? That'd be nice!

In return I'll upload Sonic Adventure 2 in APE... I'm not sure how soon I'll do, because I've been fooling with Zero Gravity Tracks—wish me luck.
