Initial D is a great anime. I love it.
The movie is great too.
I own the movie, but not any of the animes yet.

Anyone else like the series?

I like the series, but I don't have a very good reason for it. I don't think it's particularly good or anything. The movie is terrible though. Completely disjointed and all over the place. Cramming a couple volumes of the manga into one film was a really bad idea.

I love the anime and the managa but... I havent seen the movie just yet, I want too very bad but I havent found a place where I can download if from I really want to see it I heard it was way better then tokyo drift.

I've been a fan of the series since the first volume of the manga. I played all the arcade games for it, wound up being the fastest in the Midwest for a few months on the Akagi course in version 3, and I have all the anime (don't get the Tokyopop ones at all, they are utter crap!) along with the movie (you'll enjoy it if you have an open mind, otherwise don't waste your time) and PS2 and PSP games. I thought I was the only one here that was a fan of the series and had some sort of knowledge of the series on this forum too. Glad to see a few fans to some degree.
