alright heres the deal im in ultima's castle my characters are at level 100 and ive beaten every boss in the castle except for tiamat and omega weapon im gonna beat omega after i fight tiamat but theres only one problem it wont let me get to tiamat im in that elevator thing and when i take my other party to the other elavator where its SUPPOSED to make the other elevator go up it doesnt do anything it just stays there it doesnt go down and move the other elevator with my main characters up so i cant get to tiamat is there anything im missing or haft to do before it lets me go up?????

Are you sure you mean Tiamat, because you don't have to go that way to fight Tiamat (The room you're on about contain the Floodgate key) i'll give you directions to the location of Tiamat:

Firstly you go on the on the center of the second floor hall, inside there there's a chandelier (Most likely spelled wrong) and as you try to walk across it it falls, you'll now be on the bottom floor again, from here go forward and through the door in-front. the next room is outside and has a fountain in it, go past here and you'll see stair in the next room, go up these, the stairs continue for a long time but near the end of the staircase (including all the spiral area) there's a light of some sort swinging from side to side jump this gap and through a small hole to see Tiamat flying around above the balcony.

That just about does it.

EXP - - Stong vs Fire & Thunder / Immune to Wind

Climb the Clock Tower until you reach a large swinging bell. On the left side of the tower, stand near the edge and press the X button to jump onto the bell when it is close to your party. Your party will jump off the bell and onto a small ledge. Pass through the hole in the wall to find Tiamat.
Tiamat is a GF gone bad, due to Ultimecia's control. It acts (and looks) a lot like Bahamut, but it is not as powerful. Tiamat's only attack is its Dark Flare attack, which is very powerful. When it's not attacking, it simply waits for its next opportunity to use Dark Flare.

Because Dark Flare takes a long time to charge, take this opportunity to protect your party with the Shield spell. Also, head leach party member and hit Tiamat with everything you've got.

Start the battle by summoning Doomtrain to slow Tiamat and weaken its defenses. This will make the already slow countdown to Dark Flare even slower. Follow this up by summoning any powerful GFs except Ifrit, Quezacotl, and Pandemona. If you have Eden don't be afraid to use it. You should have plenty of time to summon Eden between Dark Flares.

This battle is fairly easy, as long as you keep everyone healthy and use Shield magic to cut down the power of the Dark Flare attack.

You can make the battle impossible to lose if you junction 100 Ultimas to your elemental defense. That was Timats Drak Flare will inflect 0 damage.

:rolleyes: yeah, junction all your Ultimas to your elemental defense if you have any. But i doubt you have 100 Ultimas...

i did. and 100 auras. and 100 meltdown. oh, and 100 of pretty much every other spell. wayyyy too easy... :rolleyes:

Or you can do what I do, and cast Aura on myself and use Lionheart.

Look everyone, it doesn't matter what baddie he wants to vs, the guy just wants to get up the elevator dammit. I'll help ya out man, if you ever get around to reading this again.

Square went and did something totally original for this. It basically relys on weight. Get 2 or 3 girls in a party and take them to the elevator on the left, then take the other party of 2 or 3 guys to the elevator on the right (make sure the girls are on the right elevator before you go up to the left one with the guys) Then they'll make the girls go up. To get the girls down, just get the guys off the elevator.

Whats the point of going up the elevator anyway? You can defeat everything you need to without doing that part, because I have never done it. Is there a reward?

You dont need to take the elevator to get to tiamat! btw, me never took the elevator... whats there.. the floodkeymaybe.. ?

tiamat is so easy to killed ! iam killing him in 5 min !

Like the other guys said you dont need 2 use the lift but just incase u want 2, u get the lightest charcters on the left side, these r the 3 girls, Rinoa, Selphie and Quisy, you then run on 2 the right 1 with 3 guys and switch party, u will be on the other side with the girlz now, (just a useless peice of info from me)
