Hey I just wanted to know if you plan to upload the Donkey Kong 64 Complete Gamerip to the Galbadia Hotel anytime soon. I've been waiting for that game for months!

You know, some of the tracks are on http://shadowhaxor.net/, so if you go there, you'll find some of the tracks. Not all. but good ones. You'll need to have an account to get in & get it, but it's the same as when you register for this forum.

Wasn't your name Jamesman before? Why is it Jameswoman now?

Jameswoman has always been Jameswoman. You were just mistaken.

Oh shut up you little turd bomb!! And yes, it was Jamesman. But that dumb Prak that we see now became a party pooper and changed my name. Just what do yoy have against me anyway Prak? I'm just an ordinary Member. Sides, I just helped someone find what they're looking for, and I've done it before.

Yay! I'm not crazy!

And sorry to see that, Jamesman.

I actually saw you around the site a lot and like your posts. I was going to ask you to join my site.

Yeah, no problem.

The site is mostly Nintendo-centric with 360 stuff as well.
We'll be getting our own vBulletin site like this one, too, soon.

Stop lying to that guy, Jameswoman. You know very well that you've always had that name, and I most definitely had no hand in changing it.

Shut it you damn jackass!! I put it as Jamesman & you know better. And who even let you be one of those official Shrine guys anyway? You really make me sick! Now change my name back at once!

Yeah, you're being kind of a jerk, Prak...

Getting back on topic, any finds of a good complete DK64 rip?

Actually, I am mostly interested in the boss themes, not all of the soundtrack. The tracks in shadowhaxor.net are good, but they don't fill me up completely... -_-

There are remixes of the first 2 bosses at Newgrounds. If you want, just got to newgrounds.com and check up Audio, click on search, and type DK64 or Donkey Kong 64. And yes, I'd rather be suited by being called Jamesman.

Wow. Thanks again for your help, Jamesman! Thanks to you, a whole new world of video game music and remixes has opened before me at Newgrounds!

Say, think there's any chance for the other boss themes getting remixed soon?

I don't really know. It could be possible to request a remix from someone who makes remixes there. But I never attempted such a thing, let alone know how. It'll probably happen in the future.

Really? I'm starting to wonder. Why can't we host DK Stuff? Does FF Shrine have something against Dk or what?

Apparently, some guys from Rare sent a notice. They didn't want their stuff on the site. There's a list of the "banned" songs around here somewhere...

Then is it against the rules to request DK Music?

no, you can ask someone here and they'll post it on the forums for download

OK! From now on, whenever you're looking for a DK64 song, post in in this thread.

No specific rules, just keep on topic, and good luck.

Could someone post the original request on MegaUpload or something, please?
(Donkey Kong 64 Complete)

I know of some FTPs that have, but unfortunately, my FTP program is being
really buggy right now, and I can't get to it.

I think it was mentioned already, though, I'm not sure.

Well here is my suggestion to your problem:

1. Download Winamp, Jasper's File Writer Plugin, the 64th Note Plugin and Lame.exe

2. Get the Donkey Kong 64 ZIP File from this (http://hcs64.com/usf/) site and extract it somewhere

3. Download LAME from this (http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html) site and extract it anywhere.

4. Install Winamp and the plugins if you haven't done that yet

5. Open Winamp and press Ctrl+P to open the preferences window and go to on the left Plugins > Output and select Jasper's Disk Writer plugin and press the "Configure" button, then where it asks for a directory, select the directory to save the files at, then select to convert it to MP3 from Lame.exe and then click the config format and where it asks you to locate lame.exe, point it exactly where it wants you too and them press OK on both windows and click Close on the Preferences window.

6. Open a file and it will convert for you in MP3, this should work if you have a high-end PC :)

7. Enjoy :) Ask me any questions if you have any problems.

Thanks for your help, Tailsfan, everything is here.

EDIT: If someone could do the entire thing and post it on MegaUpload or something, I think it would be highly appreciated by other members AND fans!

UPDATE: There's a complete gamerip compressed in RAR format available at nintendud.net: http://nintendud.net/dubble/2p-dk64cg.rar

The file contains each and every song in the game coded as high-quality, variable bitrate MP3s. It contains the box art images of the american, european and japanese versions of the game.

The rar also contains various curiosities, such as the original Donkey Kong gamerip (the one you play at the Frantic Factory in order to get the "Nintendo Coin"), the Donkey Kong 2 and Mario's Revenge gamerip (originally released for NES), and the box arts of all of the aforementioned games; plus soundtrack originals such as Da Banana Bunch (Vitamin B Remix), Jungle Madness (Krrrazy Kong Mix), and The Sands of Mystery (Wet Version).

Bumping coz I have a request here.
Songs 37-55 shown here http://img442.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tracklisttw8.jpg
I've downloaded the first two parts from a thread posted on here awhile ago, but the 3rd part hasn't been put up yet. I've been looking for this full OST for a really long time now, and I really want to complete it. Now I've tried downloading other ones around, like the one posted here, but it'll take me forever to download considering how much of a piece of crap my PC is. I'd like to have the one here, but I can put up with just completing the one that I already have pieces of. I've noticed this thread has been dead for sometime now, but I do hope that someone reads this and is able to help me.
Cheers.
