I've noticed a lot of ppl say : go with your own style.
Speaking from a personal prespective, If I use my own style, I get really good results. High detail, professional effects, ppl congratulating me... and so on. -_-;
But, the thing is that I don't like my style , even if it's better than what I want to be able to draw.
So, I chose anime as a style to follow. Even if it's an inferior style, I am happy when I draw the things it's way . My tastes doesn't match with my abillity... -_-;
Anyway, would you rather go with your style, or the one you want ?

Both. I can draw in multiple styles, from realistic to comic, cartoon, or anime. My favorite style is anime, but I draw other styles too, because I can. If you can draw in multiple styles, I don't see why you should pick only one.

I always go with my style. What ever seems to come to me I just draw, and it usually turns out in the way I want it to.

Sometimes, I like what I do. It can look professional, neat, etc. But there are other times where I pinch myself because I don't like what I've seen and I wanna draw perfect anime or something.

Well its sorta the same with me, I can draw multiple styles quite well, but I dont like my own. Only thing is that the only things I draw when I "just draw" are monsters, and thats not the largest pallet if you know what I mean.

So I just keep doing what Im doing, trying new styles, trying my old style, and trying to combine them. I think that that is the best thing to do in this situation.

I like to draw my own style, but my own style usually incorporates a lot of other different styles that I happen to like

your skill should be developed in such a way that it doesn't matter what style you draw. If your anime or whatever style happens to not come out as good as your other, then you need to put more time into it. The style doesn't matter. If we are limited in such a way where we cannot create every idea we come up with, then you should work until you can. This means not sticking with what you're good at, but developing what you're not.

I have my 'own' style, which isn't all so great. I have my anime style, which is actually quite good. Cartooning style, which i can almost perfect, as it's not too much to deal with. THen ther video game style, similar to anime.

I have been using photoshop for around 3 weeks, been experimenting and I don't think I have really developed a style to my graphics making as of yet...but I am working on it.
