i might as well post some of my poems, since I wrote commented on others poetry :)

Heres one on anime fiction poetry on Rourouni Kenshin

Wanderers look for an answer.
the answer to a unreslovable answer,
looking at the dark room,
seeing a past which fears him,
he just prays for the day,
that all the question will be answered,
half pain,
half joy,
looking at the time of shine,
yet has a look of a dog lost,
wanderers be wandering,
into the dark,
into the past,
into the future,
which ends up with no answers,
The Wanderer will keep wandering,
Till all prayers are answered.

----------------------------------
just a regular poem

Coming from cities,
Roaming with ladies,
Knowing the trick,
Of how woman tick,
How princes do too much lick,
And pauper princesses pricks,
Yet the trick,
Is the gentlemen bit,
Which is handle women,
With pretty woven,
Cloths and lovely tokens,
Which cannot be broken,
One method of the Love doctor of accentor,
Like a guardsmen proctor,
Not to bother,
More like a brother,
That plays the angel of love,
Makes great white doves,
And loves to shove,
A big of hello and goodbye sweet angel of love,
To penetrate the womens heart and hove,
Away into the starry knight,
And helping them in the night,
With problems of womens fright,
And helping with princess of light,
Me the doctor wearing big jeans tight,
With a shirt that is so bright,
That Athena would see its great might,
As I am the good of all men,
That respects all women in pen,
Having the techniques of all great men,
Which gives women a lot fun?
As the greatest feeling is on the run,
I may be young and having lots of fun,
With my glasses of pun,
Gentlemen and very noble of a son,
This my hand,
And this for fun,
Im the Love of Doctor,
Now its done.

I see potential, but you really have to work on your grammar. One word of advice: Have someone proof-read them before you post them.

For a start, always place capital letters after full stops. :)

Appreciate it :)

short poem------

Before------
Memories are strong yet shallow to see,
There beautiful yet sad,
There important yet too insincere,
Which memories goes so fast,
but not too sad,
Which are "the memories ways".

After------
Memories are strong,
yet shallow to embrace,
As the road is a trace,
into the depths of are soul,

Raining of a song,
In are requited grace,
that grows in are days,
To play as a main role,

Memories are long,
and strong in lace,
Entailed into a race,
of a crimson satire sole,
As these are the memories Plays.

Proper poetry requires flawless spelling and punctuation. You should perfect those basic skills before attempting any sort of creative writing. As it stands, your attempts are a chore to read and have too many glaring faults in their structure to even pay attention to content.

Is there any reference you can give me, like a website of some sort to better understand of what are the "basic skills" that I should learn or understand? =)

Use a search engine like Yahoo. Type "Poem class" or something and something should come up.
