Just because DBZ is comprised of a few episodes of a person charging up an attack, one episode of that character using that attack, and another episode of their opponent dodging that attack, doesn't mean its a bad show :p Who cares if it takes about four 23 (or so) minute episodes for a planet to explode in 5 minutes. Its awsome! :D

Anyways, my fav character would be Trunks because, well, he travels through time and wields a sword...at least for the first couple episodes he is in. Nothing beats time traveling sword users with this type of animation style...except for Chrono Trigger, of course.

It's hard to decide, but personally I have to be a cliche fanboy and pick the protagonist, Goku it is.

Favorite Villian: Cell. He had so much ambition in completing his final form. He wanted to prove to everyone that he was perfect. He was a cocky bastard who could use almost everyone's specials. When things weren't going his way he would damn everything in existence in a fit of rage. His voice was my favorite in the whole series. The whole saga kicked ass. Lots of plot twists and such.

Favorite Z-Warrior: I would have said Vegeta, but after the Frieza saga he just becomes a punching bag. Which is why I'm going with Krillin? Thay guy was involved in everything from being the butt of all jokes to saving the day. Sure he wasn't the strongest, but he sure made his presence felt in almost all the sagas. That's one guy I would like to have on my team. A coward yet not a coward. I would love the scenes when you know shit was about to hit the fan. He would express his disbelief and grief but he would still fight for his comrades. Love this guy. "GOKU!!!"

also: i liked this show when i was infant, and then i realized that the plot was too loose. If they had one kickass fight ever episode like the power rangers did then i would still love it, but once i realized that nothing was happening except long-ass power ups and shitty dialogue i dropped it all like a bad habit.

I'm a Vegeta fanboy, coz I know that under any other circumstances, he could totally pwn Goku back to the stone ages! Plus his constant bickering with Goku just makes the show so great! Nothing beats a good villain turned pseudo-hero!

I also love Krillin for his positive work ethic (and bagging Android Eighteen), Piccolo for his stoic heroic personality, Future Trunks because I love time travelers (and his sword skills rock) and Teen Gohan SSJ2 for just pwning all (not as cool as he got older though).

And without a shadow of a doubt, the best villain of DBZ history has got to be Freiza. The guy just wouldn't quit!

IMy favorite is Perfect Cell. Everything abot him, his look his voice, his techiniques(or everyone's) and his theme song are amazing. I used to like Krillin when I was young when the show aired on wb 11 before toonami, but as the series went on, everyone besides goku and vegeta became weak losers even picollo who was really cool and blew up the moon became lame. Pikkon is a close second. He raped Ginyu force, freiza and p cell all at same time. His theme's cool 2.

I haven't seen no one but two people claim Gohan as their favorite. Come on half-human, half-saiyan. He was basically the strongest. Did you not see what he did to Freiza and Cell. HE FREAKENED MURDERED CELL... up until he regenerated. And the Mystic Form was cool but the teen Gohan that killed Cell was the best version of him. I hated the episodes when he fought Dabura and Fat Buu.

Janemba, from the Fusion Reborn flick. I thought he was one of the better villains, in design and power. He was capable of destroying any incarnation of Goku but strangely, harsh words could hurt him, words like "you suck".

It was nice having an actual semi-realistic kid in DB. No more "cute but stupid" archetypes with Goku, Goten and Gohan.
I liked it. She was immature in a way that people won't excuse away like they did for Goku in DB.
She was the representative of the only Saiyan youth who had around a decade of solid peace time and it made her more "real" than the other twerps.
