What did you guys think about the ending for Final Fantasy 9? I personally loved it. It wrapped things up pretty good, and it had some VERY surprising plaot twits.

Anyway it was an ok ending. It did a good wrap up, I've seen better endings but it was good.

The ending made the game worth beating over and over and over and over and over again for me.

I liked it but I couldn't possably tell you about all the chaos that would be going on if I was there wait I put my name in as Zidane's damnit I have a split personality and sometimes they don't exactly get along too well

I had all these heart - warming feelings inside me when I watched the ending! *spoiler* Leaving Zidane behind, talking to Kuja for the last time - and then Zidane got smooshed - or not, as I found out later. I really was so upset when he was thought to be dead!!
I guess I get too involved with the characters... :( :p
I hate it when the credits come up and it hits you that it's the end of the game though - I was like, I don't want it to stop! It's too amazing!! And then, what do I do in my spare time now?!

I thought the ending was pretty good, and considering I named Zidane---Justin (my name) and Dagger---Kaylan (the girl that i really like)........that made it even better.

Aww, that's sweet! A guy named Rinos after me in FF8.. I got scared.. but he liked it when the characters danced together...

:D yea totally.....:D .....i hated that it had to end....my opinion, best game ever!!! dont post and try to argue what game beats it, cuz it's just my opinion....:rolleyes: it had the best ending and it was just a perfectly stellar game.....

Yeah it was a good ending for the fact that i had the hammer and Save the Queen, I couldn't even tell where the extra endings were so all together it was good for me.

well...the save the queen doesn't add anything, only the hammer does.

and the ending sucked. It was SOOOOOOO predictable. I mean, as soon as i saw the guy in the cloak it was like "hmmmmmm.....i wonder who that could be?"

anyways, the ending sucked. period. worst one in the series.

I thought that it was good, even though it was too predictable. Even the first time I beat the game, I knew what was going to happen before the play even started. Nonetheless, it makes me all tingly when I see it.
It was better than 10's in my opinion.

Even though I havn't beat it, I've seen IX's. And yes, Zidane, AGAIN :D is right. I thought 7's would be better than I saw it, but it was nice....I love 8's, very romantic, and capped everything off. But 9's was great.

Now if only I could find that secret FMV where Zidane and Garnet head to bed.....

The ending totally ruled! Especialy since it took me about 8 goes to finally kill that dude so I was relieved to finish it, but the endinmg kicked ass! I actually was crying... don't laugh, but I was. I get too involved with these type of games. When it looked as though Zidane was dead I couldn't believe it! I was really pissed off about it that he didn't get with Garnet but then it was revealed that he got out and got together with garnet that beauty, and tears rolled down my cheeks, it soo beautiful, *sniff...sniff*

But yeah, FF9, second best game, actually, shit I don't know, I am torn between FF7 and FF9. Brilliant ending to a brilliant game.

SPOILER AHEAD!!

So, what's wrong with using a help guide? The Bradys Games one told you NOTHING, while telling you where you have to go if you got stuck. Which is how a help guide should be in my opinion.

And the Hammer you get by completing the Stellazzio mini-quest. Get every one of those coins, including the thirteenth one, and Queen Stella will give you the Hammer. Keep it in your inventory, and after completing the game, it will unlock an extra scene during the play at the end. I don't mean to be a spolier, but it doesn't really add anything to the story. All you see is king Leo execute Blank for his betrayal of Marcus. Big deal! Still, I think FFIX has an awesome ending, even if it is a tear jerker. Plus, I get to see Garnet in THAT dress again,..oooo...
