Not well received in its release and now forgotten by many, ShadowGate 64: Trials of the Four Towers is a 3-D reincarnation of the NES cult classic. Its haunting musical score is ideal for doing homework, going to bed, or any other mellow activity. This is a reverb-enhanced (by me) recording of the clean, undistorted sound files as "ripped" by Halley's Comet Software (from which this music was downloaded). Three of the tracks, however, I have recorded myself: "Pixie Flute", "Dragon Horn", and "Doom." Also in this recording are two tracks which were ultimately unused in the game.

It was for the Turbo Grafx CD only, & has a wonderful score. I also included some songs & events from the game, that are in adpcm, rather then redbook. In short, I had to play thru the game, to get them, while the rest of the music, I ripped from the cd.

Sorry to plug this here, but, I thought it was appropriate for those that missed it when I originally hosted it.

Beyond was a great track, you should have included some of the other scenes, especially the multiple ending sequences.

Hmm, maybe down the line, I'll go thru Beyond Shadowgate again, & record those endings, though, one bummer, since I was using Magic Engine to play & record everything, there's a problem at the end of the game. The very final cinema, after you've beaten it, doesn't finish. I'll probably mention it to the creator of ME next time I talk to him.

I know it's an old thread. However, I'd love to listen to the OST of Shadowgate 64. If there is anyone who can help me out? I remember it has this very mysterious, medieval feel to it. Thanks for any help.

Yes the soundtrack was and still is very cool, good old N64 style.
