as i write this i have just finished reading an article at videogames.com. it seems that squaresoft has told them the 5 new jobs for ffXI.
Beastmaster- tames animals and creatures and uses them for your personal use
Ranger- your basic archer, not much about its abilities and such have been disclosed.
Bard- play music to cast different kinds of spell buffs for characters and as well as other things.
Paladin- this is your basic paladin. it has more defense than other races and casts holy spells you might have seen in FFT. other skills as well.
Dark Knight- another race from FFT. uses skills to steal hp and mp from enemies. other skills as well.
the catch about these jobs are you can't choose to become them off the bat. you can only become these races as you play, but no details at what you have to do or maybe what race you have to be to become these jobs. for the full details go to videogames.com
