Also, they seem to take their music so seriously that comes of as quite ridiculous as well.

Really?! Maybe I should shut up because I don't have don't have very limited information about this subject. But that's the impression I get. Whenever I see someone with a Linkin Park hoodie it's always worn by someone who's definitely not over 15. Though I guess that's not a good way of judging the whole of the Linkin Park demographic.

I'm pretty positive that's not Linkin Park, unless I've forgotten what they sound like over the past 4 years. There's a few demos by Chester's band from back in the day, but that's it I think. It doesn't sound like their type of music; on average, a Linkin Park song won't run longer than 3 min., and the vocals don't sound like Chester or Mike. Not to mention that whoever is singing lead for the majority of the songs, has vocal chords that are much huskier and deeper than Chester's.

Oh, and I just wanted to throw this out there. At the bottom you'll see a sound clip for "What I've Done":

That's more likely to be the real track for "What I've Done".

I still say Reanimation was spectacular. Great mix of styles and a couple of unreleased tracks.

Why this band still exists, and is still sought after by people awaiting new material from them, is beyond me. Nu-Metal has passed, and only a few bands continue propping up the carcass that was such a horrid trend of music. I'd maybe have more respect for Linkin Park if they just ceased trying to sound "Metal", and just stick with Techno. That, they can kind of produce to a quality level.

lp may have been in the numetal category, but i dont see how people cant admit that they have a completely original sound. i mean, sure, there has to be bands thats sound like them, but popular music, no.

Linkin Park may be an absolute shit band, and as people they may be money hungry bastards, but for some unknown reason I can't say that I dislike them. They're what really got em into metal music. I started listing when I was 12 or so and branched off into better stuff from there.

I do however think the Jay Z mashup was the worst thing ever created.

They suck, and don't sound anything like what the fans have grown to like. The vocals don't even sound like Chester most of the time..and if it is, then he needs to ditch the Eddie Vedder wannabe sound..

Reanimation and Collision Course were the ****. Hybrid Theory was great. Even the Fort Minor album was great. But M2M sounds like its gonna be garbage like Meteora.

i highly doubt that this is the real album im not even gonna waste my time listening to it ill just listen to it when we get it instore next week. i may have outgrown my LP/emo/im-depressed days but i have to say that their sound is much better than most of the shit thats out right now. MCR, 30StM and all that gayness. its my opinion just like everyone elses on here so whatever.

Hybrid Theory was awesome, thats their original sound it was amazing and raw just like a first album should be.
Reanimation was all Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda, it was a dope remix album. they got some quality artists that are not mainstream and sellouts like Styles of Beyond and Aceyalone.
Meteora was good could have been better but some songs were awesome
Collision Course .... lets just stay away from it. the only reason i didnt like it was b/c with the musical skills present in that studio the best they could do was a mash-up. the songs were ok but new material from a combined effort would have been better

The Fort Minor album was good ill have to admit. it wasnt the best thing out there but it had some good songs. and the DJ Green Lantern remix holy mother**** was insane, Green Lantern and Mike Shinoda together was fu**in amazing!!!!! the retro remixes worked amazingly well and they had new tracks. if u can find the mixtape id say that u need to get ur grubby little hands on it NOW!!
