I do think this would be a good idea but I think it would be better if people nominated some choices or something, and I can pretty much tell you right now that either some metal band would end up winning due to the number of metal fans that frequent final fantasy boards or I could maybe see The Flaming Lips or Mars Volta or one of the other bands that a lot of the regulars like totally crushing the competition.

Yeah, you're right. Though I wasn't planning on Coltrane being compared to Necrophagist. But different genres would be the best way to compose this rumble.

I think having really different artists go up against each other is half the fun.
