Who is your favorite character in final fantasy VIII? Mine is Zell because he's energetic and hot headed. It always makes me laugh when he's mad.

I think Laguna was probably my top favorite with rinoa, quistis, and zell coming in close seconds. To tell you the truth they're all my favorites. I loved this entire game. This was one of those games i wished the characters were real.

There's something about rinoa that made me vote for her. She's the only ff character who is stuck in my mind.

To be honest, I hate them all to some extend. Selphie is by far and away the most annoying character next to Rikku, but Squall comes pretty close. Quistis seemed like the most "normal" in the game, but my favorite character is still Julia.

The scenes with Squall and Rinoa are really funny to me (I am not a romantic at heart), and Siefer seems to just get a really bad image painted on him.
I mean, honestly, think about what Siefer does... Ok, yeah, he makes mistakes but who doesn't? And Ultimecia is twisting everything round in his head, isn't she? Siefer is just really misunderstood. My pity goes out to him.

WTF are you drunk he's the SORCERESS'S KNIGHT one of the biggest parts in the game. And in the Lunatic Pandora at lvl 100 he's no push-over. Unless you just ue holy wars and heroes.

My favorite characters were Zell and Seifer. They were the only ones who actually had their own personalities. Seifer actually had his own motives which made his character much more enjoyable to encounter. The rest of them though...they were just to bland and boring.

I picked Ward....only because when I first played this game I thought it to be awesome only to now realize that it was the FMV's that I found awesome and because Ward doesn't talk enough to prove himself to be stupid. I really dont find any of the characters having strong personalities, they're all moody, depressive and wallowing in their own strife....with the exception of Selphie who is just annoying in thinking that she's cute in her clumsiness. Quistis was my fav character to play because of her blue magic though.

Okay, I'll admit here: my fav. guy is Irvine. I think it was because I first saw Irvine that I got interested in FFVIII. He's also that cool-looking cowboy who eventually became a friend to the others. That's all. Now will the angry mob come and chase me?

My fav. girl is Selphie. (I know, perfect couple!) I like how she's like the most energetic of the group and her Limit Break is my most favorite. (One time I got Ultima but I pressed accidently pressed Do over. -_-) Selphie with a nunchaku is one of the greatest battle characters ever. ^_^

I also like Rinoa, but she's second because of her whiny persona. (Like in Deling City when she makes the stupid decision to go to Edea. >_<) (And during Balamb vs. Galbadia, when the floor collapses, you can see Zell and Quistis/Irvine/Selphie run off, leaving Rinoa behind and she has to hang on to the cliff. It looked kinda stupid to me. >_<) However, I think she is the perfect character in battle. She has cool battle poses, a long range weapon, and high magic stats. Characters with long dusters are one of my faves. ^_^
