With the generous support of the Mediafire and Megaupload communities, I've managed to obtain dedicated servers to protect my uploads, and I will now provide ever-live torrents so that if the links are dead, you can get it straight from me! I promise to be more resilient about serving the online community from now on. I hope everybody can forgive me and my old computer (R.I.P.)

I found that 2000 music collection you were talking about, and it doesn't have much for instrumentals. But I listened to a sample track from another 2000 movie collection, and it was music I recognized from the movie. There is hope yet!

I wonder if one of you guys can help me out. I like action music from like the 1st 2 or 3 seasons.. I been looking for a track that had the music played when Magmar was first introduced. Also I remember a certain battle music they played often in first seasons. I don't know if anybody remember but I really remembered it played when pikachu went against raichu when he was getting his ass kicked.. if anybody knows what im talking about please point me to those tracks. Sure thing. I have the theme CD for that movie myself. However, because my crappy DSL at home was being such an asshole last night, I was unable to upload the first three. I'll have them up tonight, if it doesn't hiccup again. >.<

I will be posting the Birth of Mewtwo CD drama box first. It will have the OST to the first movie for sure, but i will also include the Birth of Mewtwo CD drama itself within the RAR file; it is exceedingly rare, and took me nearly five years to track down. Back in 2001, I found a translated script for it, so it will be in the RAR file with the OST and drama.

I meant more the second part of that specific part in the episode. When it starts raining, "The Chase" ends and a new track begins that builds up to a really nice sounding orchestral piece. After this piece (when Ash and Pikachu fall off the bike), "Tears After the Cloudy Weather" starts. It's the middle piece I'm looking for.

I might have that one, either way....when I have freetime I'll zip and upload the BGM. I'm sure it's in that collection, but maybe not...it's worth looking for :/

For the most part, no.
The music itself is largely similar, a few vocal songs (like "This Side of Paradise") didn't make the cut.
Thankfully, latios.of.altomare included the two english songs from "Lucario and The Mystery of Mew". Albiet the somewhat low quality, they are still there, and that's definitely better than nothing.

Yeah, sorry about the quality on those. I never had the chance to buy the DVD of Destiny Deoxys, so I was unable to make a recording of "this side of paradise" for everyone (sorry!). Well, my plane's here, gotta go!

I've got the battle musics (wild, trainer, gym) from the Quartz/Indigo League, courtesy of the Sound Anime collection... but could anyone tell me if the anime battle musics (trainer, rival, gym, aqua/magma - note, the fighting music, not their theme tunes, I have those) from Johto and Houen have been released on CD? If so, which CD?

Also, has the anime TR theme been released that comes from the G/S games when you walk into the line of sight of a TR grunt?

edit: for the 'wild' tracks I found on the Ippai CD. Thanks for those!

The Gym, Trainer, Rival, and Aqua/Magma battle themes from Ruby and Sapphire are not on Genki!! Ippai!! (though the wild pokemon battle theme is). One song I always they'd remix is the rival's theme, but oh well.

No, that's the original Japanese score, all right, and the Pichuu & Pikachu music IS THE SAME; the dub used the original music for the short.

Wrapped Up In The Light (Speedy Mix): Remember the part in Pokemon 4Ever where all of the Celebi came from the past and future to help that one out? It's a faster (and IMO, much cooler sounding) version of the song. It's not an official Pokemon song, but it's decent enough I guess.
Squealing Frenzy: The name describes itself. Latios (on the forums) has heard it before. It's a funny, yet incredibly annoying mishmash of sound effects from Pokemon Heroes. Worth listening to, just for the ending.

And, well, the Music Collections for the second and third movies are quite elusive. I wasn't able to track them down when the movies first came out, and now they'll be almost impossible - and horribly expensive - to get, and that's if they were released at all. From what I've been able to learn, the Music Collections for these movies consist of just two or three instrumental tracks - the rest are some Japanese people singing.

I'm still looking though, so there is a bit of hope.

thomasdaly: RARs are compressed files. Just go to WinRAR's site (http://www.rarlab.com/) and download the free trial - you can use it indefinitely and it'll just have pop ups suggesting you to buy it (but you don't have to). Just install WinRAR and you'll be able to extract the files.

The dialog about "using the Web service to find an appropriate program" just means that Windows doesn't have a program associated with the file type.

I've also heard that the score is available over iTunes.

I have Internet Explorer, and megaupload works fine for me.
Unless I try to download too many things using megaupload, then it automatically disables you from doing so for a time.
Nevertheless, I'll do what I can.

Sorry for all of these double posts, but I've encountered some errors that fatally injure my ability to upload anything using those two sites.
Sendspace is marked as a "Spyware" site with my "Trend-Micro" antivirus thing, so it won't even display it. Because my Mom would freak, I can't mess with the anit-virus thing at all.
With rapidshare, I tried uploading "Lucario", but after I hit "upload", the was an error.
After about the 14th time of trying this, I decided I was doing something wrong , or rapidshare was prejudiced against Sir Aaron's hat.

In other words, in order to get any higher quality versions of the songs, you'll need to talk to the copyright holders and ask them for a copy of the raw sound file :3

320 is too much in my opinion.
I could fit all 9 movie soundtracks on one C.D. if the bitrates weren't so high, but the quality for many songs is necessary.

This is why mp3 players pwn cds. I have over 5,000 songs on my iPod and can fit so many more! Not to mention that I have all the Pokemon movies (jap) to date on it, and most of the specials.

I'm afraid you've misunderstood. I ripped the tracks from the CD into mp3 versions of exactly what you'd hear if you stuck the thing into the car stereo. The program rips the tracks so that they are automatically at full CD quality. It just so happens that the Genki!! Ippai!! CD was created with 128 kbps tracks, and that's why these tracks are also 128 kbps. Try searching for a rip with "higher quality" recordings, but I promise you that all you'll be doing is wasting memory.

I love all of these! I've been searching for the soundtracks for the Anime and Movies for a long time! Thanks Latios!

Now, in the midst of all of these music tracks, one theme still isn't anywhere in sight.

I don't know how to explain it, except that it plays in the Anime usually when a gym leader reveals their most powerful Pokemon. (The case I'm thinking of is when Blaine summons Magmar to the field at the end of "Riddle me This")

It doesn't appear to be in either Anime OST.

Well I can do Pokemon 3 for them, but have you ever considered downloading iTunes, when you import the CDs into your computer they are automatically in MP3 format.

I have iTunes, but iDon't like it because it constantly assaults me with "You should totally upgrade iTunes to accomodate stuff you'll never use!" or "iTunes doesn't like the song "Bag (Vocal Version) at all! N00b!"
One of those is a joke; can you guess which one?

I have a question/request. I just downloaded "Pokemon Sound Anime Collection" which was really good, but the thing is that it was in wma format. I couldn't play the songs in winamp (I had to use mediaplayer, which I _never_ use normally) and I couldn't find any way to convert the files to mp3 format...

Does anyone have "We Will Meet Again" from the 8th movie?

I'm looking for the BGM remix of the song "OK!" that was used frequently throughout seasons 4 and 5 of Pok�mon. It was used traditionally when "the tables were turned" on the enemy, and good guys started winning. I think its first occurrence was in the episode "Fossil Fools", and it was also used in episodes like "The Apple Corps" (when the Pichu were stacking on top of each other), "Ariados Amigos" (it first starts up when Venonat jumps out of Arbok's grip), "A Promise is a Promise" (when Pikachu and Sparky start kicking the asses of the rage-controlled Team Rocket Pok�mon), and many, many other episodes throughout the seasons. I LOVE this song and have been searching for it for about half a decade now. If someone could get me this song, I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks!

I'm really just in love with the anime's take on all the games' battle themes. I like to use them in cartoons that I make, heh. to download from the link, first click on it then it will bring you to a site (megaupload.com) make sure your pop up blocker is off because it might be getting blocked. after the site opens up at the top right corner you will see 3 weird looking letters, type these letters into the box next to it and hit enter. it will tell you to wait about 45 seconds then your download link will appear where the counter was. click on the download link and it should start.

Myuu should have told you these are in WMA format and not in folder so it comes out very messy.


Anyone have the songs used when Pikachu first battles Blaine's Magmar in the volcano (ends with a To Be Continue with Pikachu facing down a fire blast)

The other song is during the Indigo Plato tournament when Ash is battling against a kimono girl and she uses a Scyther against his Bulbasaure. Also used during the Orange Island when Ash and his friends are on an Island that was formed from fossilized Kaboto that are coming back to life and the Island is falling apart and they must construct a raft to save themselves.

Hey, it's me again. Apparently there are two different openings to Chronicles, and the one you mentioned (it goes P-O-K-E-MON the whole time) is not what I was thinking of.
