I haven't listened to Oblivion but I have heard good things from others.

I like the theme of Metal Gear Solid, but Crash Bandicoot theme is rather better than MGS.

He also did the music for Rugrats in Paris, with an other composer ^^.

Metal Gear Solid theme is a classic, i also loved the song in MGS3.

also The FFVIII Overture is amazing.

Too many to mention. Er, Max Payne and Silent Hill 4: The Room.

I still think the Super Mario Bros. theme can't be surpassed in catchiness. ^_^

I have always found the Dark King battle theme from FF: Mystic Quest to be my favorite.

Michael Giacchino actually composed the Black main theme. Chris Tilton just conducted. I think Chris made the rest of the soundtrack though.

As far as my favorite theme, the main theme of Mercenaries is one of my favorites. I need to figure out a way to make that into a ringtone... that would rock.

Black Mesa mod for Half Life 2 also has some good music in it. I think the opening suite to F.E.A.R. is a gem of video game music. Just about all the battle music from "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" would fit here too, and perhaps "Samsara" from Custom Robo (Battle Revolution, depending on which end of the Pacific you are on).

Probably some of my all time favorite was the opening theme to "Jungle Strike: The Sequel to Desert Strike." That is just so damn cool. Someone should redo the theme with better sound quality, that would bring down the house at a rock concert in my opinion.

Of course, I couldn't forget about the boss theme in Rocket Knight Adventures... that is worthy of mentioning here as well.

Welcome CEO. I love Kameo. There are some really nice themes in that album. The Forest theme is so nice, with the voices.

It is wicked hard for me to choose one song as a favorite theme but one of the ones that always sticks out for me is anything by Michiko Naruke (especially the Lord Blazer Battle theme from Wild Arms 2), and most of the Final Fantasy music.

Seconded. "Rogue Spear" has a great OST, as does Ghost Recon. (You can find Ghost Recon's WAVs in your hard drive if the game is installed. Search your comp for .wav files, about a thousand of them pertain to Ghost Recon and many are music files.)

Final Fantasy aside, it is definitely the "Intro" to Streets of Rage 2. It's just fucking amazing.

My favorite themes are probably Rage Awakened from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, and Purrification of the Darkness/Battle with the Parts from Grandia II. Too bad it's the only epic battle theme on the OST... But yeah, I'm all for RPG battle themes. I also like very slow and relaxing music, though. Like Sky, Ocean and Earth from Dragon Quest VIII.
